ST4life - You are a bit over the top.  If you really are from Silsbee, you are an embarrassment to a lot of us from Silsbee.  Maybe there is a reason for your attitude.  I cannot but wonder why you could not have supported our neighbors to the south that were having their best football year in their HISTORY.  It's not like you had to get on the L-train and ride.  No, just keeping quiet on their fun and success would have been

enough.

Lets be realistic, they talked a bunch of crap all year.  They have had one good year out of 42.  Lets see how they do in the future.  Thats the difference between a program and a one-shot wonder.

they wont go to the play-offs next year they just got a one chance shoot at state but finally played a good team and ran out of steam

I see we have a bitter Ned fan here running their mouth. At least we beat yalls butts this year. I guess that is why you are talking crap.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen...

Lumberton had a great year, many of their fans have been smacking other teams all year.

Sure it hurts to lose, but this is probably a game yall should have won, and didn't.

It was probably unrealistic to think that Lumberton would win state this year, the train ride had to end sometimes.

Better this week than next week at the hands of you know who.

CONGRATS ON A GREAT SEASON!

Why should we have won this game? Sure we had a positive thoughts about it!  Oh! Yeah! We should have won because your wisdom from Dayton said we should have ...... we'll see next week how you all stack up!  In WHICH  I really hope you take it all the way!  But Don't count you little colts before they drop!  You better be ready to play!

I think we matchup better against Dayton than we did against Waller bacause our D played better all year against the spread.  We struggled somewhat against good running teams like PNG and LCM.

I wish we would have done our part to make the rematch happen.  I know you guys are better now then when we played and you have a better season than our because you advanced farther than us in the playoffs but we are better now also and the HISTORY book says Lumberton 8 Dayton 7.

You guys were just as confident, are more so, in week 4 but it didn't happen.  Unfortunately, we'll never know who would have won the rematch.

Best of luck next week.  I think i'll be there to watch it!

Do you really want to pull out the Ned-lum record?  You won this year and have had one good year.  Time will tell if they do something with that.  There was all kind of talk of how lum was going to dominate last year and you won one game. So I'm not bitter , just realistic.

Well, I'll say it, there's a lot of negative karma flying aroung here...lol.  Seriously, Lumberton DID have a good team this year and they showed loads of class in the loss.  Gathered around their coach for on last speech. Stood in line and listened to their school song before leaving the field.  No helmet throwing, no kicking and screaming.  You represented your town well.  I don't know what you'll have next year and really don't care!  You just had one heck of a year, enjoy it!  You just went to the 3rd round of the playoffs, you ain't no push over.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
