I heard this is the second largest Hispanic District in the country.

But, someone said in another topic Texas was headed blue.  biden has ruined blue.  And, if Beto is the best they have to offer, the governorship will stay red.

I said a while back wouldn’t it be funny if Hispanics voted “R”. Actually, these are the Hispanics who were already here. They don’t want the illegals here either.

Interesting

From the article:

In an early Wednesday morning Twitter exchange, Musk wrote: "I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican. Massive red wave in 2022."

When asked if he would vote for a Republican for president in 2024, Musk simply replied, "TBD."

A Twitter user then asked him, "What are you leaning towards?" and Musk replied, "DeSantis."

@5GallonBucket you may be right.  Hispanics may be the group that saves us.  I’ve wonder when/if this would happen.  Everything pointed to it.  For the most part hispanics are hard working, family oriented folks with a Christian base.  Essentially everything the Democratic Party abhors.

We often joke about it but you have to wonder, will the Dems begin to rethink their border wall stance?  If so, you’ll hear a loud burst of laughter from Evadale.  No problem!   Just me enjoying the irony of ironies.

Yep.  I lived in Mexico in my mid to late 20s.

I worked along side these people there as well as here in the states when I worked in the masonry business.   They don’t mind manual labor and sweat.  They also know what it’s like to live under a corrupt govt.

“Live under a corrupt government”.  Great point.  They come here to get away from corruption only to find what we have in DC now is one of the most corrupt in the world.  Words I never thought I’d have to say, but the fact they’re using the DOJ as a political, strong arm tool, comparable to The Gestapo or KGB, is the concrete proof.  And the comparison I make is not off the cuff or hyperbole.  I’m 100% serious.  These folks are not just crazy, they’re dangerous.

From the article:

"The Democrat Party has been in control here in South Texas for over 100 years and feel entitled to our vote. They feel they don’t have to do anything to earn our vote. And we sent a strong message to Washington, and we sent a strong message to Democrat Party that you have to get to work. If not, you’re going to get voted out,"

Liberals losing their minds over Musk not supporting their socialist platform...I love it.

He voted for Maya Floras, but somehow supports white supremacy, lol.

I and likely many other people have been saying that for years.

There is a push to make illegal aliens citizens and even to have aliens vote. That is because I believe about 75% of Hispanics vote Democrat. The opening of the border is nothing but the importation of votes trying to lock up all future national elections.

If however if we found that 70% of Hispanics entering the country wanted to vote for a Republican candidate, you would see that border slammed shut immediately.

Not claiming exclusivity, just something I remember saying as a joke.

"I think there needs to be an investigation into every single one of them," Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., told the Daily Mail during congressional baseball practice. "We know that the intel community never operates in absolutes, and the fact that we had 51 come forward and try to put forward a narrative that this was disinformation, misinformation, when everyone knew full well that it wasn't — that it was very real — that speaks volumes about the politicization and the weaponization of the DOJ [Department of Justice] and the IC [intelligence community]." Cammack also said their security clearances need to be revoked. Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., echoed his fellow Floridian, saying the 51 intel officers who originally deemed the laptop "Russian disinformation" should face consequences. "100%, absolutely there should be repercussions for that," Steube told the Mail. "That's what the American people are frustrated and tired about, is they see all of these people doing all these horrible things, using the deep state to go after Trump and Russia-gate and Russia collusion," he said. "It was all a lie. "And none of these people have been held accountable," he continued. "So, if any of them are still working in government, they should all lose their jobs and then be sued if there's some type of cause that you can go after them for.
    • Please post the quotes where I said our athletes are better than yours and I will apologize
    • Wow, congrats to Coach Erickson. Complete changes across the board for boys athletics in Orangefield the last year or so.
    • That team underachieved. Had the returning offensive MVP of the District along with 2 other 1st team all-district players. Finished 4th. He had a more talented/experienced team than the previous year and the team got worse. The reason I didn't like the hire in the beginning was his 6-51 coaching record prior to getting the job. I know records aren't the only thing to judge a coach on, but 6-51 is absolutely horrific.
