LCM @ WOS

His health and recovery are the most important thing right now. Hopefully he didn't even watch the game last night. This isn't like coach Hooks sitting in the golf cart. I don't know what he will be able/allowed to do. He needs to be envoled in the day to day operations. I'd have someone wearing a tablet with him on face time. Riley dodge actually coached a game from home last year in the playoffs while in quarantine. But T ain't no spring chicken. One can only hope for the best. Get well soon coach.

I would imagine that WOS has a tough week of practice, and unleashes a beatdown on LCM Friday night no matter what coach is on the sidelines. When is the last time the Mustangs have lost a game to a team in Orange county?

Vidor beat them 1999 and LCM 1994. Orangefield and Bridge City are still trying to win a game against them.

It was times where we didn't have hooks or t and we still perform because we wanted to show people how well coach we were no matter whos in charge we were a team. Kids these days argue with each other when the chips are down instead of pulling together. We didn't need t to hold our hand.

until wo-s can find them a running QB that can run behind there big fast line it MIGHT be a long season for the mustangs. Been around football all my adult life student coach at usc in  calf had some good teachers did a lot of spotting so I am NOT new kind of stuff. the mustangs are gifted all away around but a running QB can  put gray hairs into defense coaches jack Dallas was good at that he read the entire field he was gifted not afraid  to run the football.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
