Coldspring vs Diboll fo DC

I think Diboll has the more complete team and should be favored in this matchup and they should defend their District Championship. However Coldspring did impress me in the Crockett game. Dline had a good rush and limited Crockett’s big plays. Parker-Harden is as good as advertised and the other RB (#9 I think) looked good as well. I really liked how Coldspring would sneak that TE out on quick pass routes which worked well.
Diboll’s defense has played well since week 3 and they will need to step up again this week to get the W. The Diboll offense left about 21 points on the field when they played Crockett so they will need to clean that up this week.

I like that prediction. My prediction is 28-24 Coldspring, it could go either way. It should be a great 👍🏽 game. I have a lot of respect for Diboll

Me too especially with Coach Morrison as head coach... He's definitely familiar with our schemes although it's a different offense than what we ran when Barbay was head coach.  If we lose this game it will be because not only the players Diboll has but also Coach Morrison exactly knows what Coldspring can throw at them making adjustments on defense and (if Diboll does calls any audibles @Woodshed looking for your response on this one) they can win in the trenches on both offense and defense then although I am a homer but honestly I do expect Diboll to win this one but not by much (and you know I'm going for the Trojans) as we loss 2 games both by a touchdown and not playing sound defense... Speaking of Barbay if we still had him then Coldspring would definitely would win this one easily as he would of prepared for this one as soon as it came on the schedule and I'm not saying that Coach Stalley is not doing wonders for our team which he has but if we still had Barbay we would have still been undefeated and I know this because he had us ready the first year he came in 07 although a first round out against WOS (my senior year and grad in 08)... All things considered expect this one to be a smashed-mouth old school football game to the end and whoever wins we should all represent our district well

I guess that DC might as well mail it in for the week, even the Trojan Faithful are betting on the Lumberjacks this week.

Yes i agree with you @TrojanWarrior08 we need to come out with the same intensity as the Crockett game. We have to play 4 quarters of mistake free football.

On paper the Lumberjacks should win but it has nothing to do with our DC... But I do have faith too ex. the Crockett when a few of us thought that Coldspring would place 3rd in district obviously not the case not but I'm also a realist...  Diboll should win but the game is yet to be played so we will see

    • No doubt. It's definitely intriguing enough to watch how this all plays out...
    • We all know that each state has its own laws which can be very different, especially in endeavors like annexation or incorporation, so there is no telling what Louisiana law says. I don’t know but I doubt that there is a point of appeal for Baton Rouge to force St. George to be absorbed back into Baton Rouge by now giving them what they asked for years ago. “Oh, we lost? Well let’s just undo incorporation, ruled as legal by the Supreme Court (of LA)  by going back and giving them what they asked for”. There has to be a law allowing such an appeal. I think what I read about the lower court decisions which actually backed up Baton Rouge, they did not all rule that incorporation was illegal but that they did not think the city could have services up and running soon enough. So you have a court saying that sure you can split but only if we agree that you can provide services get enough. In Louisiana, who knows? I doubt that Texas has such a mechanism to allow a city to split, for example, could the west end of Beaumont say that they wish to make their own city against Beaumont’s objection? I doubt it. Certainly Beaumont could allow a city to be created as Port Arthur did with Bridge City and Taylor’s Landing. There is a huge difference in allowing and forcing which is what happened in Baton Rouge. Similar to the sometime discussed topic of Texas splitting off from the United States because they don’t like the way things are going, think if citizens in any city in the United States were allowed to create their own city, which could not be stopped by the parent city.  That could get interesting!! Don't like what is happening in the south side of Chicago? Just de-annex and create your own city!! Anyway, I thought that it is an interesting story when the capital city splits in half.
    • Wasn't that 1st round loss last year? Also, during those previous 10 years I am pretty sure Jasper didn't go 2-58 in district play in the other 5 sports.
    • Ma'am, I don't think he said all Muslims were like that. If I'm reading this right, he's referencing the terrorist Muslims. You know, the ones who commit murder & have no regard for anyone who doesn't follow their jihadist beliefs...
    • Great playoff run, no doubt.  They did make the 3rd round(1 less) 4 of the previous 10 years, only one first round loss. 6 district championships and 4 second place.  The only 4 years Carthage was in the same district. So no, I'm not sure it does make sense.
