I think that’s terrible. Heard they won’t give our money back either saying it’s going to be rescheduled when lumberton athletics saying it’s not being rescheduled

Actually, it was at least two who decided that the delay had gone on too long that this game wasn't worth getting their kids hurt for.  Both Barbay and Babin were at their current positions when this game was scheduled two years ago.  If someone didn't want to play it, they wouldn't have sheduled it.

Cancelled non-district games are generally not rescheduled due to that fact that it takes what at this point is valuable practice time.  Anyone who dares to suggest otherwise doesn't know (or care) too much about high school football.

It's my understanding that if one coach wants to play the game, then the other has to agree or forfeit.

Since neither has been given a loss, I believe both coaches agreed to cancel the game.

So playing Saturday was not a viable option? Asking for a friend.....lol

If they thought is was, they would have played it on Saturday. Answering for a friend. No laughing on this end.
