It's probably 30 miles or so from Buna to Kountze and then another 25 to HJ. Buna has to go through Kountze to get to HJ so yes they have basically twice as far. The middle would have to be Silsbee or Evadale.

I guess in today's thinking it's more about minutes than miles. They would just travel about 30 minutes longer.

Yes but have to go through the town they are playing.  About like you playing Hudson in Apple Springs. Just doesn't seem as fair to one team.  Oh well not my worry,  so if the coaches were ok with it so be it.
