It wont be 35-7 but they will be up. This Vidor team can be misleading.

They lost to a BH on a muddy field when they depend on angle blocks and hard cuts by the running backs. BH also had a new coach and system without video to game plan by. Vidor also had not figured out the proper placement of personnel . Different team now. Should have beat NED by alot more than they did. Crushed PNG in the first half until a series of events led to their demise . PNG has been practicing to stop this offense for years and still the only thing that stopped Vidor was momentum from a few bad calls and play calling in the second half. PAM will have problems with it.

excuses excuses excuses man you are drinking a lil too much pirate juice!

Man nobody from Vidor thinks y'all are overrated. Y'all are undefeated. We know y'all are all World. Just saying Vidor isn't just gonna lay down for y'all. Get over yourself.

Why? He simply rebutted with the fact that our DB's were apart of the best defense in 22-5A. They came up and made tackles against Lumberton and Lee who were both "running teams." So they'll come up and do the same against the Pirates.

We were up 35 to 0 at halftime on Lee and  Lumberton. So if you want to make that comparison please do. I hope they think Vidor is Lee. Making a 42 to 0 prediction come on man really. If Vidor doesn't give PAM any extra possessions it should be a good game.Lee and Lumberton aren't running teams. We run to setup the run.

No offense thaghost, but comparing Vidor's running game with Lumberton and Lee, would be like comparing their defenses with PAM's.  Don't know if Vidor will beat PAM, but I suspect PAM is going to see the best running team they've seen this year.  Stop them, and you win easy.

I'd suggest the Athletic Dept have a few extra EMT's at the game to treat the PAM fans who may go into shock.  Just saying....... :)

Going to be a good game. Vidor will run wild the 1st half. If Xbox can make some adjustments during halftime it will be close. If not Vidor will win and there will be Co-Champs will be Vidor and PAM, since PNG is going to get their 2nd district lost Friday night.

If VIdor beats Pam and with a PNG loss.. that would make Pirates District Champions...

Yes that sceniro is good for me that would mean the dogs would have a extra game

Hey, IMO y'all have a 50-50 chance.  Bulldogs have a coaching advantage over PNG (and most everyone else), plus a mental edge.

I figured you'd miss the pointin my post. It had nothing to do with "comparing scores"....oh i didn't make a 42 to 0 prediction, ihave NOT made one score prediction for PAM this season.

None taken. The only thing I was comparing/posting about was the DB play/tackling.  Which was brought into question by Realville.

I understood what you were saying. I am not questioning your secondaries ability to tackle. I was just making a statement that they will have to do a lot of it. Obviously you haven't looked at how many times we've passed the ball this year. We've been known to go a whole game without passing. I didn't say you predicted a 42 to 0 game. Your buddy predicted that. Just trying to keep it real. Hence Realville.....

I have no "buddy's" here. The whole point of MY post was simply that our DB's are no strangers to tackling, and tackling ALOT. You'll see for yourself in less than 48. While we're on the subject, how ready are your DB's to do some tackling and chasing?

Here's how the game will go. If we win the coin toss, we will take the ball. If we can drive on you and score it's gonna be a great football game because we're gonna take at least 4 - 6 minutes off the clock doing it. Your offense will have minimal touches on the ball. If we drive and you stop us short of scoring it's still gonna be a decent game but we have to get some key stops on defense. If we can't move the ball on you, it will be a long night. You have the athlete edge. We have the coaching edge. Good luck to both teams...no injuries...get ready for the playoffs.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
