Bro I have no problem hiring Herman, Ima all for whatever Texas has to do to get back to national prominence , but Ima be a hot pistol as a partial football alum to see my money going to this coach who's not proven but is the highest paid coach in college football and hasn't even won a National championship

What if he's the second highest behind Harbaugh?

Personally, I feel ________ highest paid in the country shouldn't be by his name ..but I know since he's at Texas The green will come, but I just don't wanna see us go after a coach and just say F everyone else, just cause he's playing LSU for us to hurry and make a rash decision...

If Herman is the one?

Why would one loss matter when his team is not motivated after all the talk.

Maybe a little cheaper now.

So do we let the crazy cajuns have him now?

The Herman naysayers are not Longhorns.

What other first time head coach can match his first two years?

lol he walked into a good situation...The team had made it to bowl games  with teams that went 8-5 for two seasons. So they were already winners...y'all act like he rose a program from the dead...He had one great season and then this year was good...They got OU early, the only real win was against Louisville

like i always say, Herman is probably a decent coach, but he's not no first ballot Texas football coach like some are making him out to be

I tend to agree - but as an Aggie fan would love to see Texas get into another Strong with rose colored glasses again.

Herman could turn the system around - or could be the next Strong - remember Strong had just 2 good years at Louisville and was average before that.

In the big picture Herman is really new to the Head Coaching world.

But hell who am I to talk I want Sumlin fired and have A&M hire the Western Michigan coach - really the same situation.

Difference between the two is one is a proven winner at a private school While the other had two good seasons and that's it..

I wanted David Shaw before They hired Strong...He can bring Dana Anika back to the 40 with him \m/

    • The Middle East is not close and have never been close to a threat on a global (or most important US threat as Russia china) you think the government is more concerned with the Middle East over them? And if either two attacked,Israel wouldn’t be on anybody mind. the UK would and it’s not close the uk is our greatest ally even in the Middle East Uk is our greatest ally. Other than political talking points what have the state of Israel done for the US.   Side bar I started a thread awhile ago about Israel . Few responses.. why is a Christian nation so Eager to defined those who consider the phrases king Jesus, Christ is king offensive.    If we can protest Ukraine we should be able to protest the state of Israel. Take away religion and there the exact same.
    • It's 2 towns trying to get tickets all at the same time. We have a history of crashing sites..lol
    • The problem as well as that all of the social justice warriors, influencers, and instigators repeat these lies in the immediate days after the event, garnering outrage.  But when they're proven false they never go back and rescind their outrage-causing posts, they just move on to the next one.
    • I just find it really hard to believe that Trump will select a VP based on the votes they bring him.  He's going to want a Trumper that will affirm his every move and stoke his ego.  I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I doubt it.  And as you said, in these battle ground states a few tenths of a % point may be enough to swing the whole election.  Trump can't afford a VP who will cost him votes (Noem would cost him full points, not just tenths), but also needs a candidate that will bring in as many votes as possible.  So hopefully whichever Trump disciple he chooses has some political appeal to swing voters.
    • Good news for this district is for the next two seasons your bi district opposition shouldn’t be much of a challenge… Royal may be better next year but other than that the district is pretty rough… Very good chance that it’s a clean sweep though
