Kountze's last three Regional Finals losses have all been by 2 points, scored by the winning team in the final minute of the game....

2016: 71-69, lost to East Chambers

2014: 84-82, lost to Tatum in OT on a buzzer beater

2012: 61-59, lost to White Oak

East Chambers two seasons since going to state we have blown big leads to teams that ended up losing to the Region Champions. The different this season is we have a true point guard, again. In 13' we had Glen Roberts, and this year Antwaan Anderson has been the floor general. It's crazy to think a few months ago these guys had never stepped on the court with one another, and now they are going to step on to the biggest stage on Texas high school hoops!

Both Anderson boys, Peter Stewart all moved in before the school year, and Cordell Davis #21 only has played this past summer league with the Juniors and Seniors.
