JSnipes
If Ozen drops, that non-football district could be:LCM, Ozen, Silsbee, Bridge City, Hardin Jefferson, West Orange-Stark, Hamshire-Fannett, and Orangefield.

JSnipes
I think if they turn in low numbers, BISD may opt to keep them playing 5a though...I just read that in a different thread. Why would they want to keep them in 5a? That's a pretty solid district if they drop in most sports for boys and girls.

John Blutarsky
With GCM moving up to 6A and 21 5A losing CE King, I could see Baytown Lee moving to 21 5A. That would be alot less travel.

Mr. Buddy Garrity
If Ozen drops (as they would be smart to do) and Lee moves to 21-5a I see 22-5a looking like this: PA Memorial Nederland PNGCentral Lumberton VidorDaytonBH BellBiz30 and liltex
piratefan
Maybe this has been answered. But why do you only have a 500 student difference from the lowest school in 4a to the biggest, and have div. 1 and a div.2? But in 5a you will have a 1,000 student difference and not split up like 4a? A 5a school who has a enrollment of 1400-1500 coyld possibly compete against a school with 2100? 3Falcons
I can see Livingston replacing Splendora as a straight move. But, any guesses on who would replace Jasper in 10-4a DI if they slip down to DII?Please let it be somebody less than 2 hours away!

AggiesAreWe
Jasper is moving to 4A DII. Their number is 715.If Beaumont Ozen does not decide to opt up ( I am hearing they will opt to stay 5A) then I can see them replacing Jasper. Is there even a 1% chance the UIL denies the request? Just curious.
