Women's World Cup

The US didn't look very sharp, but ended up with a 3-1 win in their first group game against a solid Australia team.

Rapinoe even though she scored twice hurt the USA. She would not pass the ball at all. Costs us 2 or 3 good chances. We looked to be about the 2nd best team so far. Germany was on another level Sunday but they were facing the worse team. They will be tough as will Canada, Brazil, and Japan.

As for the FieldTurf next time FIFA should have the 1 million spent on adding grass instead of bribe money

Totally agree about Rapinoe.  For every time she did something great, there were three more times she held onto the ball too long and screwed up.

USA wins 1-0!

Next up the #1 team in the world Germany.  The Germans got a gift PK to tie it up against France in the game earlier.

Of course rooting for the US, but ein Vaterland was not given a gift. Watched the whole match and that was the correct call. Honestly think France was lucky that somehow they got to play the top 2 teams in Little France if they had won today.
