If it is the assistant at a larger school that you are talking about, then yes he knows the program well. He coached against them many times. He knows the area and the type of kids at SA. He is definitely the best choice, regardless of who the others are.

I know one of the candidates and he has coached against the program before.  Great guy and would be a good hire.  He has been at big and small schools . . . would be a great choice.  Plus, he would take advantage of the area recreational resources down by the coast!  LOL

Yeah, 11 years ago. He hasn't had double digit wins in a season since I was a senior in high school. What's he been up to since 2004, with the exception of the Anahuac stop that I'm familiar with, and know was unsuccessful.
