I think it will be a good fit for both. Mack won't be expected to win championships at SMU and they have plenty of big time boosters for him to rub elbows with.

 I also think it would be a good choice. Mack can recruit like no other and I'm sure he learned a valuable lesson about hiring a good coaching staff to get the most out of his players.

Smu would instantly get better recruiting classes than anyone in the state not named A&M, Texas or Baylor. IMO
