Where the heck is Waskom? Sounds like some backwoods border town.

I don't think newton loses to waskum an my reason is this. Waskum runs the ball and that plays into Newtons strength it's those filthy teams who throw the ball 50 times a game who newton tends to struggle with. Just my opinion

In smaller schools like Newton, Key injuries play a big part in the playoffs. You have to have a good team and a little luck to
go with it.
I think we will have two teams that are capable of winning state. Newton and WO-S.

Waskom is a border town. Travel on I-20 East And it is on the state line between Tx and La.

Waskom is about 30 miles on the other side of Carthage, on the border of La, spent 2 weeks there put in a telephone office.

No not surprised at all. like I said before expectations are to go at least 3 to 4 rounds deep this year. Sorry don't see one and done this year. Should be a good year this year for PNG

the way I see it playing out , 1st on the list knock off Big NED end their streak! second win district out right! third take out Crosby the first round of playoffs and the rest to come. Got to get to august first then thru preaseason without any injuries.

Don't get me wrong, I think Kirbyville will be above average this year. But, personally, I don't see them living up to that ranking.

How do you go from barely beating a Woodville team at HOME that went 2-8 to easily winning a good district? Lol Hardin also has a huge line. Should they win this district? Lol

some teams matchup well with each other, some dont. Didnt Kville win 9 games last year with a young squad?
