If that is true the new coach will get fired after his first season which will be 0-10.
and Hemphill will have to look out of state for another coach, cause no coach in this state with a clue is gonna go coach at a revolving door.

I believe this is a rumor, however I just hope that he is finally able to be a high school teenager and have the opportunity to just "play" ball and enjoy his last year of high school.  He deserves that!

The kid is a top football recruit and a legit 1st round mlb draft prospect.  I'm sure he is enjoying every minute of high school life. ;)

I sure hope this is rumor!!!  Falls City is too far for me to be able to drive and watch him play and being that he is supposedly going to college in baseball this will be my last chance to watch him play football!!  I'm really glad I took the time and opportunity to go watch him in the games I did.

Office personnel at Hemphill ISD know nothing of this and I would assume that this is where withdrawals happen, so I am still speculating that this is rumor!
Could they legally tell  you even if it was true? I would think that would be confidential information that isn't available to the public...

Falls City sure is a long way away!  I wonder if there are any schools closer to home that he would consider say within 10 miles or so that went 3 rounds deep in football, 3 rounds deep in basketball, and currently 4 rounds deep in baseball and not graduating many senior starters..  Wonder if there is such a place??????????    ;)

Not sure where you got your information, but yes they went to the state semi finals in football, 2 rounds deep in basketball, but didn't even make the playoffs in baseball

Now that would be scary..... West Sabine's returning players including Nick Williams at RB and slide Twine is Lacy's spot at QB and it's off to the races. Falls City sounds like a much better option (from an HD/1A D-I Region III opponent perspective lol)

I just meant so Hull-Daisetta doesn't have to face Twine/Williams and West Sabine early in the Reg III football playoffs this coming season. Actually the kid can do what he wants. He's been under the microscope since his ridiculous sophmore football season. He may not even play football with the baseball talent Having a great baseball season as a senior could be the difference in him going to play college baseball or being a high enough draft pick and getting a big enough signing bonus to go straight to the minors and skip college.

Looking at it from a pure athletic standpoint (not considering family, friends, family finances, pride, academics and his competitive nature ect.), i think his best bet would be to go to a 4A or 5A school with a solid baseball program that competes against the best competition in the state. That would give scouts a little bit of a better barometer as opposed to him killing 1A or 2A opponents. College scholarship is already a lock, so now he's playing for a high draft slot. Although AAU, Select ball, and combines are what gets kids to the next level now, even more success against high calibur opponents can do nothing but help. Just my opinion.

It doesn't matter where he plays. Most pro baseball scouts see kids on thier select teams and I believe Twine still plays for the Banditos, which is a great organisation. Barring injury he will probably be taken in the 1st 2 rounds next year regardless of where he is playing high school ball.

If he wants to move then he should do it, but I don't think it would improve his draft stock.
