I would say that it was for rivalry bragging rights as well.

It gave the Warriors the edge in the series between the two over the last couple years. And the Warriors earned it. Both teams played well. Woodville had a few too many mental errors that turned into runs.

Bottom of 5 Hickman hit two batters. Kyle Adams bunts them over for Warren. Hickman strikes out the next batter. Then Dylan Watts drives Hickman's pitch 400+ feet to the wall and cleans the bases. And in some great defensive plays and pitching from Gray. And Woodville gets shut out.
Congrats Warriors. They gave you all they had and you won.

That was a very well-played inning by the Warriors. Sometimes all it takes offensively is one good hit and a couple mistakes by the defense.

That was a great game played by two great teams. I would like to say thank you to Woodville for what they did for J. L. (The boy who was killed in the car wreck). These two teams have played together and and against each other for many years and some great friends have formed out of it, so much better than last year.  :)
