  1. True...The only team I can think of around here is Atascocita and maybe Hightower, the private school in Houston...Is not to many teams in the state with that talent specially in 5A..
  2. exactly.. Everyone who watched college ball knew Washington was in shambles
  3. πŸ™ƒ Now werent you the one who was saying this wouldnt happen. Now BISD bamboozled everyone and should be 6A lol....Dont trip they did this in 6A to...
  4. So you think King will be the QB you guys are looing for?? I seen him In the State championship against Brook I know the weight program will make him ready physically but he reminded me alot of Mond honestly. But thats off of one game
  5. if you know college football you know how bad that Wahsington program was....He did better than most could and you right about the USC job which makes it that much better cause he basically could do the same thing at Texas . Which is why a successful Texas team is the worse thing that could happen to alot of college football programs (including A&M) who recruit Texas. The days of locking up the state are probably over but they would defiantly win most of the head to head recruiting battles, I know that and im not even a Texas fan
  6. πŸ˜†πŸ˜† ayy Brown wasnt the flashes hire either when he came
  7. Hey do you think this can be one of A&M's most complete teams in the modern era?? The only other team that comes to mind is the 2012 team in Sumlins first season I would put the 2012 Team first but I Love this years D-Line. This team is definitely top 2 imo
  8. Yea Sampson doing work over there, Even with the upset to Tulsa UofH has been really good lately
  9. hmm thats a very obscured view of Sark... the Washington program was downright awful and was a far cry from the 90s Washington teams. I will say Pederson did do a better job but Sark laid that foundation for the future Washington program and teams success as for USC we will never know of what could have been, but he did recruit really well and seemed like they were headed in the right direction
  10. I would love to see a Beaumont U vs Atascocita match-up my partners son is the PG for the eagle and we always argue on who would win a match-up between the two.. I tell him don't get it twisted Atascocita is good but is some Dawgs in SETX, he thinks because they play in the Houston area its the best of the best
  11. United by 20+. Sorry Ned you have a good team that is state ranked but i can almost assure its a huge gap πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  12. I was honestly just waiting for the Aggies to just blow the game open but give NC credit they hung tough, but imo NC had no business being that close A&M just looked the part this year, hopefully they'll continue in that trend
  13. At first I was critical of the hire but after hearing his interview I can gurantee you it was alot better then Toms lol *at least the ones ive heard He said all the right things, but Until the rubber meets the road its all talk...His staff hires will be very important for success to be obtained at Texas
  14. United shouldn't lose until a meeting with Hightower and even then I'd consider that an upset. But we all know anything can happen between the lines and nothing is guaranteed.
  15. Brooks DC is just young, He knows the game but is still learning. He'll get better. But again this is why i hate the whole play down to get in a better position. Just play the game!! just because it worked for you in 2018 doesn't mean you'll always get that lucky. Instead of using the games to get better playoff position, use the games to get better. Never coached like that or was a fan of it.
  16. that was that 1990 Team.. That team was loaded also They lost to eventual state champs #1 Team Houston Aldine who was also Loaded in the 1st round
  17. 2003 Central 2007 West Brook 2008 Beaumont Central 2011 P.A Memorial That I can remember off the top of my head
  18. Wow, not here to take anything from Tarkington but you knew this was coming, same thing that happen to Ball. Remember all those Great G.Ball teams, now look at them. People are moving away from the coast and more inland. Not just the coast though, All those Houston teams are a mere image of there former selves. Remember that year Aldine High was like the #1 team in the nation, but if you seen them now, you wouldnt even know the proud history, or even Yates and Sterling out of HISD. I feel for La Marque, those athletes out there in the early 2000's took a back seat to no one throughout the entire country.
  19. I'd put Flap #1. I'd take off Jefferson. Yea he was big and tall but I can think of four others off the top of my head that deserve more consideration (Not in order) Curtis Shaw (UofH) Jacoby Anderson (Prairie View) B. Rideaux (Kansas & Cleveland Browns) Chris Royal, (McNeese) BTW who is Errick Lewis?? What Year was he there??
  20. This question is impossible, I know we’re just bored but no answer is wrong, SETX is a football hotbed. There was so many greats to come thru here it would be crazy to try and rank them
