and you do? The FBI recording of a conversation between Susie Wiles and her attorney when her attorney was aware. In the FBI files there will be multiple forms of documentation about this. This is called "consensual monitoring" -- where one party to the conversation is aware the FBI is listening and recording but the other does not, and the party that is aware agrees to that. The FBI cannot do this on its own. It must seek and obtain approval from a DOJ prosecutor to do so. Some states have laws against one-party consent -- called "Two Party" states -- and require both parties to be aware and agree that the call is going to be monitored and recorded. Others are what is called "One-Party" states. Florida is a Two-Party state -- meaning the call as described was a violation of state law. The FBI is allowed to violate state law while conducting an investigation -- same principle as undercover work. But the attorney involved, if also in Florida and a member of the Florida State Bar, likely is not protected in all respects. The FBI could authorize him to violate Florida law -- but there will be another FBI document showing that as well. That document does not protect him for violations of his ethical obligations that apply to his license. And lets not forget that the FBI only investigates crimes. To get to the point of having a recorded call between a "subject" and that persons attorney, whatever this investigation was has proceeded well down the tracks. Finally, there are a host of DOJ Regulations about the manner in which attorneys can be investigated with regard to allegations of criminal conduct against their clients or others. Finally, you don't just hook up an attorney in a consensually monitored call without having a detailed history recorded in the case file about how you got to that point. It is highly likely this call was going to happen according to a "script" -- the FBI/DOJ had specific issues they wanted the attorney to discuss or ask about. _ShipwreckedCrew Lets see what happens.......

What we know is it a plan to pay people directly to buy health insurance….I imagine like an HSA account that can only be used for medical. I contribute to one at work, it is pre-tax so it lowers my taxable income, lowering my tax burden. The details are not out….probably to wisely not lie like Obama and make remarks like “if you like your Doctor you can keep them”. Hopefully the Republican party won’t try and pass it overnight without a single Democratic vote, and read it the next day to see what is in it…… I’m OK not rushing to pass such a complicated issue that effects everyone except the people that won’t ever pay for insurance.

It’s funny that Bill Maher liked him after he met him. I hear that a lot from people that meet him find him friendly and nice. Honestly, I find him interesting. While I don’t agree with some of the stuff he says, he is one tough dude. Has ANYONE had 3 bad years where you were gone after criminally in all directions, multiple states with a possibility of spending the rest of your life in jail, all while your family is being threatened with jail time, while running again for the highest office in the world…..then during a campaign rally you get your ear shot off, then standup not knowing if another shot would kill you, scream fight? That is a heck of a few years and to come out on top….well, we will never see that again in any of our lifetimes…..

I'm doing fine. I have the same a 401K as a small pension but I will be fine. I think the majority of the problem with America is we are not taught how to save. Since I was 25 I have worked in Banking and Retail. If I would of started saving in my 401K (everywhere I have worked has offered 401K) 10-15% instead of what the company matched (and never touched it) - I would not be working right now. The problem is I didn't and most don't. I started in time, but a lot don't and depend on SS. I had a conversation with a 27 year old electrician who had 75K in his checking account. He also has a 401K that he only contributes the match and a Roth. I gave him some sound advice and I hope he takes it because he is doing well, bought a house 6 months ago. He is on track to retire at 50 if he keeps it up. For some people the economy will never be good. I have an old friend that has made 150K to 60K a year - and no matter what, he is always broke......BUT, always a hoot to party with ,,,,,LOL

Maybe that is your issue. You don't understand that you are describing two completely different things. Supporting a President has nothing to do with rules in a PRIVATE forum. The First Amendment is not recognized in this forum as well. I'm not sure when it changed, but using ** to leave out words in a curse word were also against the rules. They lightened up a little .

For Trump that was a solid speech. I would have stayed positive and ignored and not called out the Democrats. I, like everyone on this page, have never ran for President or been elected twice to become President. So, maybe calling out the Democrats for sitting and not applauding for victims will help him at mid-terms. He apparently knows what works.....

In high school if I wanted to do anything other than sit in my room, I needed a C or better - If it was a D, it was an F in my Dad’s grading scale. I guess I come from a time when I was more concerned about consequences at home than school.

I see a reason for the protection, I really do, should it be policed more, absolutely. Do I see it changing - nope. I don't know your opinion of Trump, but removing that slush fund is probably something he would do. I think the biggest reason there is such pushback with Trump with the old schoolers is he is not afraid to change traditional norms.

Right now real clear politics has Trump at 42.7 as of yesterday. As a comparison, Bush was at 41.3 and Obama at 44.2. Don't get your hopes up that Trump is going to fail.. Democrats ripping speeches his last term and this time boycotting the State of the union....only helps Trump btw
