  1. You should really read the link I posted.
  2. CNN is trying to say there is a change in tonešŸ˜‚ There is no change in tone…if you are here illegally, you are gone!
  3. Welp…… Homan made it clear they are not walking away from Minneapolis….Staying until the problem is gone. They will draw down agents ONLY if there is cooperation from local police and jails…. He ALSO mentioned and supported Kristi Noem
  4. This is making that CNN story about his ribs seem a little more accurate
  5. @UT alum I put it in the correct forum room for you.
  6. @Big girl is a nurse, so I know she is smart. She should read it as he explains the law and what occurred and it appears he committed 2 felonies before he was shot.....
  7. no paywall - a fairly long read, but it does include still frames from the videos we have and case law….. if you want to hear an opinion from someone who has actually prosecuted use of force cases. @tvc184 - this may be right up your ally, [Hidden Content]#
  8. SHIPWRECKEDCREW on X - a 20 year federal prosecutor removed the paywall on a substack account explaining this situation, what matters based on law. I'm going to post the link later - I was going to copy and pace but it has pictures and still shots from the videos.
  9. Enough evidence to convince a judge to issue a search warrant...... [Hidden Content]
  10. Do people even know what crimes he committed? Now we know today that there was no supporting evidence to support he was there to kill agents. These are all your quotes. They mean absolutely nothing to if the use of deadly force was necessary....However we do know ONE crime he committed - "resisting arrest" or "resisting detainment" or "evading" .....You can't fight the police when they are trying to disarm you.......
  11. So it's ok for ya'll to misquote/misread the laws and make up your own law theory's about what happen, contradicting supreme court cases, yet I can't give the most basic scenario of him NOT breaking the law but the shooting being justified? Sounds like you don't have a good feeling about the agent being guilty if we just look at the law.
  12. I’m impressed, that was hard to read on an iPhone, I can’t imagine typing itšŸ˜‚
  13. @tvc184 - keep me honest here..... This shooting is about if it was reasonable to think he was about to do significant bodily harm / deadly harm to the agent at that moment he fired the gun. The agents perspective, not our perspective after reviewing several different angles of film, rewinding, fast forwarding using slow motion. None of that other stuff matters
  14. Why does that matter if he committed a crime? What if he just walked up, they seen the gun, asked him for his permit, he refused, said he didn't have it or his ID, or said I KNOW MY RIGHTS - since he was getting in the middle of what they were doing and not having permit/ID, they asked for the gun, he refused, a struggle broke out, one agent is able to get the gun, only one of the 5 agents see that, 2 seconds later, he reaches down to his empty holster (that not all agents know is empty), one agent yells gun gun gun - agents fire to eliminate the threat. The agent is going to claim he was in fear of his life or the other agents live cause he reached for the gun. If it makes it to court, which it won't because there is at least one supreme court ruling that supports this reasoning.
  15. So CNN is Fake News....., that could be true - but there are medical records that back up CNN's story. End of the day, he could of attacked and beat up agents the previous week. It would not help or hurt this case. If true, it just shows he was making poor decisions that eventually led to his death.... I wonder who convinced this grown, apparently smart (ICU nurse) to commit crimes supporting a fake narrative?
  16. I’m not a very good concealer even with a 380 lol - I have a waist stretch holster, but it feels like I’m wearing a girdle😭 so I wear it on my front side with my shirt over it.
  17. @DCT @UT alum Alex Pretti broke rib in confrontation with federal agents a week before death.... It is a CNN article using "sources' - so it could likely not be true......but if it is..... Can we stop with the narrative he just happen to be there helping folks.......He's an illegal protestor twice that we know of (if true) And if true, it was just a matter of time before he would get hurt.....or dead [Hidden Content]
  18. This is what I mentioned a few post ago - I've read articles of people that have had to use their training, and they have difficulty dealing with it. I hope I never put myself in the situation to make that choice. I'm not a huge hunter because I'm not a fan of killing animals. I will do it for meat, but never for trophy. Appreciate your Sacrifices and Service!
  19. There as a period of time I didn't..... I was finding myself going to places that I normally wouldn't without a gun....made me think I was putting myself in dumb places Now I won't go somewhere I would only go if I'm carrying.... Traveling to Austin, I'm bringing it along with 2 additional clips so I can be like @bullets13 🤣
  20. I don't think any officer(LEO) (especially this 8 year veteran) wakes up hoping they kill someone. They just want to do their shift and go home to their family every night.....I don't blame them for doing what they think is necessary to not die. I carry most of the time, my biggest fear is having to pull my weapon and use it. Not only the thought I killed someone, someone's parent or child, I'll have to live with that but it could bankrupt me in court, even if proven justified. For me, I hope my Son or anyone I care for wouldn't act so stupidly interfering with LEO's trying to do an already hard job.
  21. Is there a such thing as a "good shoot"? There are plenty of attorneys and lawyers explaining why this was a justified shoot.
  22. It’s crazy…..I remember being called racist when I agreed with jury/cops decisions on ā€œunarmed black manā€ā€¦..now we have a white guy armed with a weapon getting in the middle of police business, and I’m hearing he had a right to conceal carry…..so, the only common denominator is they don’t like cops…..because I’ve said this on several social media sites, if you don't teach your kids to comply and not resist or fight the cops, it’s child abuse…..there is a risk for every decision people make….if I drink and drive and hit a telephone pole and kill myself…..did I deserve to die? No, but that decision put me there…… Until people stop blaming everyone else for their poor decisions, nothing is going to change….I’m not lowering my standards, both of the deaths were because of stupid, dumb and illegal decisions they both made.
  23. He fought the police in possession of a loaded handgun …..
