Banker here...... I probably did 150 -200 PPP loans. It was not walk in and walk out with money. You had to have previous records proving income, payroll, rent, etc.... 20% of the loan could be for rent expenses, the other 80% payroll. To be forgiven, you had to provide the receipts and upload them. You also could not terminate any employees. I had some customers that did not follow the procedures and they are having to pay back the loans. There was some fraud, people are being charged with fraud.....if there was fraud in this short term program, imagine the fraud in social security and unemployment, etc, GO DOGE You should know the difference between a PPP loan and a student loan, but just in case..... When my son signed his student loan, he signed a promissory note (agreement) to payback the loan at the agreed upon terms. He was given the money because he agreed he would pay it back. The PPP loans were also promissory notes that were signed in agreement to be forgiven if they met the criteria, and if they didn't, they agreed to pay it back. You cannot lump the 2 together because they were different.

Harvard is free to do what they want. He is not banning any speech. He is not jailing anyone for speech. He is just not sending money if they continue the hate. IMO, it is a private school, with a 3% admission rate and charges more than most people can afford. That does not sound like they had the Democrats in mind for the working people. It is a white and Asian school with only 6% black students. I actually love the location of PA.....I was born and raised here. I love the water and proximity to Houston/Galveston/New Orleans and Austin..... There are just too many things I don't like

Taxes are not inexpensive....home prices are lower, which I guess makes out of pocket taxes lower, because no one wants to live in PA. I'm in PA, 1700 sq ft home, with a 3.5 car garage and under roof carport between house and garage, very large lot. This home in Lumberton would be $300ish, I may get 150K when I sell. There are several insurance companies that won't even insure homes in PA, but when you do find one, (Goosehead is great), they won't cover windstorm, your agent gets that from the state. I pay right under 4K a year to insure my home, including flood. The house has never flooded, but this is my childhood home and it has always had flood. You never know in PA when the pumps might not work......In Lumberton ) paid less that half of that for home insurance. FYI, Hardin county auto insurance is less than Jefferson county..... You add in the crime rate of PA...........not ideal for someone wanting to retire.......IMO oh, and if our healthcare is so good, when someone has a serious illness, why does everyone recommend going to Houston🤷‍♂️

I think EVERYONE should get due process.......... BUT It is difficult for me to think someone who on purpose avoided laws and due process to come into this country illegally, should be awarded due process to remove him. He is a citizen of El Salvador and is home where he should stay.

If you have not read the police report, it gives a pretty good indication of what happened. While it only gives the statements of several officers, what I picked up on was there are at least 30 witnesses listed on the report (names redacted of course), and they collected cell phones, meaning a possibility that the murder was recorded. @tvc184 - one officer statement said they found the knife on a bleacher partially folded.....you were right about it being a pocket knife.
