[Hidden Content] :'( :'( ;D
Too funny Sgt...
We played this game a couple of years ago against Silsbee with my older son. It wasn't a good idea. Not sure who brought it up but we WOS are not pushing for this game. We would absolutely play it but understand why Lonestar isn't. Congrats on a great season. Time to go to the deer lease and play basketball.
Good post!

 5.
the league took the word of the other team. The next day after the game was played and sheet signed off. Evidently the court found evidence they proved their case. This league is being sponsored by a anonymous NFL player. It will not start until summer of 2013. I am just the lawyer on board. Of course you know all that is in detail. I will not speak on this subject again. Good luck to the league. And word of Advise Revise Your bylaws.
;D  Now THATS funny........ You may be, but based on your excuse driven responses.......would never hire you!

I dont have a kid that plays . And second :You expect LoneStar to list everything that will forfeit the game."  Well, why not the STJFL does.  In any sport you have penaltys for not follwing the rule. They are not made up as you go. You jump offside or illegal motion on the offense. Their is a 10yrd penalty. The rule is already set. So yes, they should state. If the rule is broken it will be a forfeit. What the rule states is The head coach will go before the board for discipline NOT the team forfeit a game. So they enforce a rule but not abide by the others.  Get real.  I guess you all like cheating when its beneficial to you.  For some reason i dont think you all are getting the point. The kids were in the game. At the beginnig of the fourth there were a number of kids on both sides that didnt get their plays. Its just amazing all the other teams did. and one needed the whole eight but only 6 plays played in the fourth. Go figure. And its not about the MPRs its following the rules set in place to give discipline to the game. Evidently you all dont know the leagues rules.
HAHAHAHAHA.... so whose rules are you quoting this from?  In every league that I know of, jumping off sides or illegal motion is a five yard penalty.  Too funny. PS Play your kids!!!
Thank you!..... Someone else caught it....... and BTW.........hats off to mwmuck......I would have been done after the FIRST detailed and VERY clear explanation.
 7. Your mad because the league upheld a rule?

It's above my pay grade. Call and ask the league President. We do what our league says to do. I don't really think it matters, but maybe it does to a couple of you. Ya'll making an issue out of nothing. Heck get your kids together and play another community.
I'm with Scalp'em.......them not playing in the probowl gives more kids from other towns a chance to play in the bowl.. (when they might not have IF they played).......

If #28 for PNG or #10 was my son, I would be furious that the coach would work him Like a government mule and not if but when he gets hurt, you toss him to the curb like an old pair of shoes. I see this all the time in baseball, the same "Dominate" pitcher pitching every game 100 pitches for 6 months a year and at 17 yrs old needing "Tommy" sueguery. All for what..... For the coach to get his "Tropy" that will sit on his mantel and collect dust while a kids body is ruined for thr rest of his life.
Thats a VERY general comment and most of it is simply not true......the coaches that do what you mentioned are very few, and please do not use such a wide brush to paint all of us coaches the same. There are also BAD parents, but very few, and I don't see coaches using a wide brush to label all parents bad...... I won't even respond to "icancyourmind" as it does not deserve a response
I just have one question for you to answer. Why did #28 from PNG-W and #10 (the 7 or 6 yr old "Monster") from Nederland carry the ball 9 out of ten times and never very came off the field. His actions are louder than your words. Where as the actual Superbowl winners had a more balance "Team" approach.....  BTW. I'm a coach and a parent of many sports.
I cannot answer, as I did not see the game, and the ones I did see I didnt talley number of plays per player.  and as for the actual superbowl winner, WOS.....I have seen them (as well as most teams) utilize their talents....and I see nothing wrong with that. I remember #4 from Jr. last year......STRONG player, and ran the ball A LOT.  My Son plays both ways, and usually only was out 1 or 2 plays per quarter....if that.....again, I see no problem with that. One question for you coach, do you make sure all of your players get the exact number of plays per game?
I agree with you, this probably was not the "best" place. With that said, he seemed to tell the entire story, and accepted some of the responsibility.  Based on what I read, he seemed more at fault (at least with the way he handled it) and he accepted the feedback.  When a parent gets on here, it normally goes down hill quickly.....so, I respect him for listening and taking the advice.......

He does have an attitude, but lots of kids do in every sport. I expected his coaches to maybe sit him or work with him, but that didn't happen. He's not perfect, but to just ignore the problem isn't acceptable to me. He needed a positive role model to work him thru it and didn't get that.
ndndad, with the limited knowledge that I have of the situation, I will make the following comment. The attitude problem is mainly YOUR responsibility more than the coaches.  They get to coach him a few afternoons a week and at game time along with 25 or so other kids.  Your are his Dad, and you should have a hand in this too! Additionally, if you did not allow him to play QB when the coach wanted to send him in...let's just say that situation speaks for itself.
