The Biden administration announced a plan to expand tuition breaks for future teachers and remove GPA requirements for grant recipients in hopes of providing access to “students of color.”
You can read that 100's of ways, but it still says one thing and one thing only,
The current POTUS says that people of color are not smart enough to meet the requirements, so we will lower the requirements for the people of color...
What ever happened to having Teachers being the best and brightest. Not anymore its just indoctrination at the public school level, tell them to read the book and obey...

It's not about what you have stated. It's about accomplishment that are good for America and policies that damage America. One example: Trump had the border under control. In about two months, Joebama's policies have allowed an invasion of illegals that includes the drug cartel and criminals. Which one do you think you right for America. BTW, if you wish, I can discuss policies with you going back to, but not limited to, Jimma Carter.
"I can discuss policies"
Come on buddy, you know those on the left don't know the difference between propaganda and policy. Heck most if not all of the left still think the budget and deficit are policy, you can't fix stupid.

Thanks for the comments tvc184, what I find interesting is many of the headlines concerning these rulings are very misleading unless you actually read the entire article or the actual ruling which you so eloquently pointed out.

Some of you have only been posting on click bait articles to share and open a conversation.
But has anyone else been watching what SCOTUS has been doing lately. We had a string of 9-0 and 6-3 in Americas favor. The thing I have noticed is the number of overturns on cases out of the 9th Circuit.
Maybe just maybe going into this weekend we can discuss things that really are important to all of us...

Here is a thought, what if we let teachers teach?
Actual teaching, not teaching to get a test score, not teaching to a lesson plan that includes any type of indoctrination, just teach.
We the taxpayers will pay you a "fair, EQUITABLE, INCLUSIVE AND DIVERSE salary.
If you as a teacher of English can raise little Johnnie or Travons grade by X, then and only then do you get a raise. No not an average in each class, each individual, must raise his or hers, (there is only 2 genders) average for the year.
185 days of work, starting wage of $300 per day or $55,500 per annum. This is the same as making $78,300 in a "normal" 261 working day job.

"Alex Haley — 'Racism is taught in our society... it is not automatic. It is learned behavior toward persons with dissimilar physical characteristics.'
The key word in the statement, "TAUGHT"
Critical Race Theory (CRT) is a Marxist ideology that
“all of society is racialized and properly viewed through a prism of identity groups based on race and color, with minorities being the oppressed while white people serve as the oppressor.” Moreover, “CRT teaches that white people are inherently and irredeemably racist and benefit from various systemically racist power structures that white people have put in place and perpetuate.”Racism, prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.
We now teach racism, prove the comment wrong.

My comments on the Tommy Chong reference was never intended to insinuate someone smokes the Devils weed. My statements were more tongue in cheek while watching the College World Series and the poster made a great point on possible causes of the homeless problem.

Thanks for doing my homework, Fred. I was too lazy to crunch the numbers, so I went with life experience and sarcasm. Goog thing we reached the same conclusion.
It was a reasonable point you brought up and Mississippi State was kicking Vandy Boys butts, so what the heck.
As cannabis connoisseur I was hoping you were wrong.

At first I was going to respond in my best Tommy Chong voice, "like no way man." But after some serious thought, I can agree with the idea.
If I somehow ended up homeless, perhaps I'd rather sleep on the beach in a cooler climate. A place that had both a liquor store and a dispensary within walking distance. After a long day of panhandling, at least I'd have a choice. Add to that, the relaxed drug laws in some places now. Allowing small amounts of so-called hard drugs, including cocaine, heroin, oxycodone and methamphetamines.
Boom. Exploding homeless populations.
Smoke a bowl buddy your serious thought is incorrect.
If you look at the states that are trending above the average per state, 11,113 homeless population. You will find 8 states Pennsylvania, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington, Texas, Florida, New York and Mexifornia that fall above the average.
Pennsylvania, RC (recreational cannabis) is illegal except in Philly and Pittsburgh. homeless population 13,199
Oregon, RC has been decriminalized since 73 homeless population 15,876
Massachusetts, RC just became legal in 2016 homeless population 18,471
Washington, RC has been legal since 2012 homeless population 21,577
Texas and Florida, RC is illegal homeless population Texas 25,848 and Florida 28,328
New York, RC was just legalized 3/31/2021 homeless population 92,091
Mexifornia, RC legalized 1/1/2018 homeless population 151,278
All three of the west coast states have very temperate climates, are very liberal and very welcoming of the homeless.
New York has had a slow increase by 1/3 since the Obama era. Very small gains during Trump and fell from 2019 to 2020.
Massachusetts has declined from 2018 to 2020.
Washington has been steady from 2010 to 2020.
Pennsylvania has been flat over the same period.
So has Cannabis increased homeless populations, NO...
"the relaxed drug laws in some places now. Allowing small amounts of so-called hard drugs, including cocaine, heroin, oxycodone and methamphetamines."
"Boom. Exploding homeless populations."
Winner winner, blunt for the winner on the so-called hard drugs causing the problems...
