Ok maybe 25 to 30 years...

So lets get this straight,
It was more important to the recently elected officials of Beaumont to, spend $5m + to buy a building and smash it down for "green space", start a "homeless coalition" and attempt to get the rust bucket Battleship Texas to "relocate" here.
But they cannot keep city employees and the most vulnerable, those with no other form of transportation, safe.
Thats Beaumont for ya...

The gateway pundit is a modern National Inquirer.
But what he said has been said by others. There has been speculation from some (many?) in the medical community that people with the vaccine are causing more dangerous variants.
Basically the premise that I have read was that Covid would have made his rounds and eventually start shrinking, which it was actually doing. The vaccine some people believe has caused more radical and dangerous variants.
The Gateway Pundit is ranked as one of the top 150 websites in America, based on Alexa rankings.
I'm not sticking up for GP or any other site, but calling it a modern National Inquirer is just your opinion. Your comment would be more credible if you stated Alex Jones is a modern National Inquirer.

Not at all. Why should tactless insults from someone I don’t know from Adam bother me? And you people call liberals snowflakes. Righties are the biggest crybabies I know of.
"tactless insults", obviously it does bother you. Chances are you have never watched Tucker Carlson or any Fox News. Your comment, "Tucker Carlson is a communist tool. He’s the traitor in my book."
That is a tactless insult because you do not like Tuckers "OPINIONS" and that is all they are. He has the number one rated cable news show yet in he is a communist tool.
"I’m a lefty and I don’t judge like that" YES, YES you just did it more than once.
Trump lives for free in your head along with the rest of the right, that you "judge". The only communist tool is you, don't agree with someone, pull out the Cuomo/Lemon talking points and repeat.
Who is "you people"? Those who you don't agree with but you "judge like that". The saddest thing about you leftist is you like to accuse others of doing the things "you people" are doing and saying to those you say are "you people". I'll give you the contact info of an Aggie to explain that one to you.

So, Arthur Schlesinger was a traitor, too? Tucker Carlson is a communist tool. He’s the traitor in my book.
Appears that piece of paper from UT didn't make you any smarter. Probably never watched TC or any FoxNews, but hey the Eyes of Texas is racist song according to you "alums"...

"while spewing anti-vax rhetoric 24/7."
You cannot prove that claim and if you can than do it.
And your opinion is worth less than a piece of penny candy...

True, but the nurses work in the medical field and want no part of it. Makes a fella wonder alright.
And that is why there is almost 300 posts and this conversation started on July 23.

I just heard that Airbnb is fairly huge funder of the communist organization BLM! Remember this next time you think about wanting to use them!
Here is the problem with your statement, dealing with ABB is a double edge sword.
If you are lucky enough to have a room, cottage, house etc that you would like to rent out and make money on, ABB and VRBO pretty much dominate that business model. We started using HomeAway which is now VRBO 10-15 years ago, but they don't have all of it.
So your statement about thinking not using ABB usually hurts the rentee more than the corporate structure.
But then again I am not saying your right or wrong and this is information I never had before. That being said if I boycotted every company that supports the BLM, Antifa or any other so called "social justice" causes, I might have to starve and wear no cloths. \O/

The devil is in the details,
The JCT analysis even found that the proposal would increase taxes on Americans in CALENDAR YEAR 2027 for those making between $30,000 to $40,000 per year.
They pass these bills that don't take effect or cause an effect till after POTUS has left office. Notice that would be during a possible second term where re-election is not a concern...

Three words never spoken by elected officials and bureaucrats.
WE WERE WRONG...

I would consider myself an outlier on the issue.
I am not an anti-vaxer or refusing to take the shot because of who is in the WH. I refuse for the same reason I refuse the flu shot, tetanus shots, shingle shots etc, I do not get sick.
Where some have used the term to mouth breathers as an insult, there are many who do most of their breathing through their mouth, which I am one along with 2 of my children. Both in their 30's have never had the flu or many of the common illnesses that people get in their early years.
Covid and the flu are respiratory illnesses, I believe, just my 62 years of experience with my own body that my "natural immunity" will keep doing what it has, fight off these viruses and other maladies.

- do you want the 80 year old firefighter climbing a ladder to rescue you, or the 40 year old? I’m taking the 40 year old, sorry gramps
- do you want the 80 year old cop on foot patrol or the 40 year old cop? Again.. I’m taking the 40 year old
If you can't stay on the same subject to make whatever point you are trying to make, stop with the apples to pineapples comparison.

Why are you getting so defensive if there’s no truth to the tweet?
70+ year olds should obviously NOT be running the country. You’d agree that’s the case for Biden at least, right?
Asking a question is not being defensive, its asking a question. The tweet is neither truthful or false, it is just an opinion, nothing more nothing less.
My point is basically this, you chose to share some random tweet to troll everyone. Then you ask if I agree with a trolled tweet, the lack of anything resembling grey matter in your posts is actually pretty pathetic.
Sorry can't say what I would like because of my warning, but that day will come. It may not be me but someone will just say what the heck...

How many of you actually have and use a twitter account?

I’d like someone to explain to me why the Fed DOJ is trying to fight Texas’ new abortion law. Talk about overreach. All the 🐂💩 going on in the US, drugs flowing across open borders, violence in the cities, and defunding police, etc etc, & our DOJ focuses on a Texas abortion law. Help, me out here fellows - why?
Because it is an "emotional" argument, not a rational argument. It also keeps lemmings attention on the small stuff and not the things that effect every citizens.

OK seriously, how many of you are on twitter?
And does any little tweet from some unknown tweet idiot deserve a response.
Fail again magatroll.

Admittedly I’m not a mathematician, but it seems you could take the 600,000 cases in your study and review known factors and outcomes and arrive at those numbers. I would assume that the number of unvaccinated cases in their study was approximately 4.5 times as high as those that were vaccinated. If there were 30,000 hospitalizations and only 3,000 were fully vaccinated, I can understand how they would come to the conclusion that the unvaccinated were 10x as likely to be hospitalized. Based on the numbers I’ve repeatedly seen posted by various local hospitals that break down vaccinated vs. unvaccinated hospitalizations and deaths, I don’t think they’d have to be very creative with their math to come up with these numbers. It holds pretty true to what I’ve seen. I do understand that this is one study of 600,000 cases out of tens of millions of cases.
Great analogy and I think you get my point. We are given data but the methodology of the data is not explained. 2.5x, 4.5x, 10x of what number gives us the results. There is still other factors that contribute to the data, just hard to break down a concern or a problem.

Actually do not subscribe or read GP on a regular basis. Most of what I see is when their articles make into the larger aggregate sits.
I would say that Alex Jones is a modern National Inquirer or Star Magazine, heck throw Madd Magazine in there. But Madd Magazine sounds like the current administration.
