If you’re on FB, go to Vidor Pirate Football.  Channel (?) 18 does a livestream.  It’s from sidelines, ground level, but they get some good shots.  Sometimes I watch that but I’ll be going back here often to read BoneyardBoy’s post.  He’s better than radio announcers, imo.

Fair enough, I’m more worried about Vidor taking care of business in the next 2 games. I could see them slipping up but this group of boys has impressed me again and again this season.

I’ve been impressed by their mental toughness. All year long they’ve heard nothing but doubts and to go out week by week and prove “haters” wrong is tough. I don’t see this team overlooking anyone… Week by week, team by team!

  3. Like I said from the beginning…I’ve watched lcm play (on Texan live) a few times, nothing impressing about them. Yeah the rb and qb run hard-ish but other than that, a few hard hits and deck them. And so much for a DC that came from a school that runs the “T”…you don’t practice against the “T” you get get ready for the next weeks opponent 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Quite possible, their running back looks explosive but he was favoring an ankle pretty heavily in the last game so I’d keep an eye out for that. The QB looks good too but I expect the Vidor defense to get after him a little bit. I don’t think they will score at will but I do think they will score 4 maybe 5 times. Vidor offense will have to answer, these Pirates can win in a shootout game.

The best saying I have ever heard was by a TTU coach....Play like a disciplined psycho! And that's what I expect from Vidor!

And they could be right, but on the other hand long clock eating drives are a defenses best friend.  Vidor must finish these drives.  To often they drive down and fumble in the red zone.  I’ve a feeling the Bear defenders will be concentrating on grabbing the ball rather than tackling the ball carrier.  They know Vidor fumbled four times against Splendora.  Doesn’t take a Nick Saban to know Vidor can’t afford that against LCM.

Vidor will clean up the turnovers.  Having a bye before the Splendora game showed.  Vidors offense is as much to do about timing as any offense and not being contacted for 2 weeks showed. Practice was back to 2-hands on the ball and as Lenorad Founette said "run thru somebody face"..."run thru a ____ face, then you dont have to worry bout'em no-moe"

As LCMA32 posted, very close and what most of us are expecting tonight.   Gonna be a slobber knocker.

Even though I'm 6hrs away and cant make the game, I still have family and tons of friends in the great city of Vidor and a few friends that live and their kids attend lcm (play for the bears).  Talking to the lcm faithful, its going to be a blowout. lcm can and will score at will.

So do the teams that don't have a contract with TL have a right to video their own games ? Was last years filming of games just allowed due to COIVID 2020 ? Are does TL own  all rights to all of Texas teams ? Who is the ultimate authority , TL or the UIL ?

Serious questions so please be civil with your answer

TL does not own the rights to all Texas teams.  PNG and I believe another team have their own streaming service.  And yes, UIL is the one who allowed the streaming of games last year due to Covid and carried that over to this year.

They shouldnt be playing man with that personnel. Gonna get burned. Better dial up some blitzes this game

Those coverages have been used in every game for the past few years. Playing LCM is not going to deter Vidor from playing man.

LCMs offense will attack Vidors corners with quick strike passes to take advantage of the big cushion they give. They will send the corners chasing a wr deep, then run outside. The longer throws will happen but expect some successful post routes in the seam of that cover 2 defense for big plays.

For Vidor , the offense must be clicking on all cylinders if they want to win. They need to play the underdog role because that's what they are. Can't go in expecting to win because the days of easy wins over LCM are over.

Vidor plays man in the seconday.
