  1. Yep, just a bunch of facts. Silsbee went to the wire and got the win against the evenly matched Sealy. They all looked the same against BV.
  2. Yes, based on the "fact" that they all looked the same against Bellville.
  3. Wimberly not going down without a fight.
  4. One more stop by Bellville and this could be over.
  5. Too busy watching Belville and Frankling running it. Looks pretty good at the moment. "Facts son". Also, it is called the "Slot T".
  6. Maybe if “your district teams” were in the BV district the other teams may have done better. “Your district teams” got beat just like all the others. They looked no different. “Stating facts”. Looking like Wimberly is quite a bit better than the previous opponents. Hopefully BV gets the win.
  7. Runs down a district. Gets mad if someone runs down a district.
  8. Yep, their first four playoff games were about the same caliber as the rest of their schedule. Wimberly may be the first real test. Hopefully they hang on and get it done.
  9. Maybe Tarkington and Shepherd should "opt up"?
  10. My suspicion is that if it were to be BV and Gilmer that Gilmer would have a tough time matching up with BV. I think Wimberly has the most favorable matchup with BV of the remaining teams.
  11. Duly noted. Come to think of it, you saying my posts are sensationalized is “getting kind of old”. Glad we are free to post as we see fit and ignore if we choose, if not both of us would be in trouble.
  12. There are varying opinions on this subject throughout different regions of SETX. If you are from Silsbee or WOS you would probably think that it is the most important thing and that championships are won based upon the "alleged strength of your schedule". You would also believe that "your district is automatically the toughest in the state" because "you want it to be". You might also believe that "facing Vidor" prepares you for "all versions of the Slot T offense".
  13. Yes, but wasn’t in reference to Silsbee? I have been losing track of the outrageous comments. Too many to keep straight. Makes it difficult on a guy like me
  14. No, I think he was referring to Silsbee, though WOS folks made similar ridiculous statements.
  15. They are all good but Sanders makes it to the point where teams can’t deal with it.
  16. Bellville is able to stuff the run with only 4 because of #99. High school teams are ill equipped to deal with his physical abilities
  17. This game is likely for the State Championship. Wimberly is better suited for stopping the Slot T than the previous teams Bellville has seen but Bellville version of the Slot T is based on physicality as much as misdirection and should provide them with enough to be successful. It is hard to imagine Bellville not having the edge on defense. Will be a tough game either way.
  18. Did not see the Huntsville game but in the Lake Creek game I felt the QB was the difference. LC probably provided a blueprint for the approach to the PNG OL. LC DL consistently attacked the larger PNG OL cutting them down and disrupting the blocking schemes which allowed the LC LBs to run free. Doing so, they held the PNG running game in check. PNG QB is impressive and can win a game on his own.
  19. Yes, that is it. Top left has empty seats. Great crowd.
