Not self promotion but it is promotion. I'm in the kid business and all of the SETX talent will need us all to promote them in every way possible. Trust me, we have been in this game for a long time and whether anyone wants to admit it or not there are big city politics involved in AAU and Circuit Ball. Our SETX Kids will need us all to help them get the opportunities they deserve. I want all of these kids to win and want nothing but positivity for all of them! I am not about many adults and their bull these days, but I love all of the kids and believe we have an obligation to them to make sure we get it right. I kind of thought that was why @AggiesAreWe made SETX Sports to begin with. Am I wrong?

This message board was created for people to share scores, information, opinions.  I highly doubt anyone is receiving a scholarship from posts here, but I do appreciate your response. I need to go check the cats out.  When is the next home game?  Preferably against someone with a pulse?

I know 0 that are from orangefield and dislike any of the peevys.

I don't know the Peevy's.  I'm sure they're nice, but I'm from Groves.  Much easier to get land in Orangefield when we built.

These weird comments about our “product” and this imaginary “hype” all make sense now that you admitted that you just don’t like LCM, which is fine. Hate makes us say funny things. I don’t know anybody that’s ever been under any kind of impression that LCM is some kind of athletic powerhouse.

Hate is a strong word.  I don't hate anyone or anything.  No actual reason, but I just have always rooted against LCM.  However, I do not like openly recruiting (you can disagree all you want, but I believe what I believe) and then playing the victim when those kids aren't cleared.  What I do like to do is argue and I love this board because of it.

You guys support your team and that's great.  Don't ever stop.

  3. Compared to whom?  Show me a good team yall have beaten.  Maybe Vidor this year?  It irks me when you guys crow about going 6-5 with wins over Splendora and HJ.  Or brag about getting in the playoffs in the worst district in the state?  What if you were 4A d2?

I think OF and HF are gonna be really close. OF made a really good hire in the off season that I think may give them a little advantage.

HF beat Orangefield twice last year and brings everyone back.  Orangefield lost a really good player and a really good coach.  HF has one of the best coaching staffs around.

Imagine that. A 2 win prediction now playing for the DC... peevy haters cringing. Good luck to both teams. I'm happy they're in this position again

Your posts are the only thing that make me cringe.  I think the coaching staff is doing a good job with what they have, but I don't think the Bears have beaten a remotely decent team in two years.  Maybe that changes next week?

So you’re saying that you don’t think HJ will be one of the top 10 teams in the area?  It’s also laughable that you’re worried about ole bullets still.

Who is coming back for Hardin-Jefferson?  Lumberton dad said they boat raced them in a fall league game (don't really matter) and he didn't recognize any of the kids.  I think maybe they take a step back in that district.

With the amount of Beaumont transfers they have gotten the last 4 or 5 years its hard for me to respect what they do.
They win a bunch of games early based on a significant gap in talent then they get popped quickly in the playoffs

East Chambers fan talking about transfers is rich.  I like Fannett.  Lots of good players and one of the best coaching staffs around.  Kennebew is an up and comer, Knowles is the experienced old coach, and Robertons is the wily veteran.
