this is the 4th round. I think you were meaning 5th (state simi-final). IMO Kilgore will win this game. They have some dudes on D. LB's and Safety are really physical and can tackle 1 on 1. If they can prevent turnovers (unlike last time they met) they will win this game by 14+.

Yes I meant 5th round. SMH

Based on last game, the over/under should be about 80 😄.  This should be one of the better playoff games this week.   I’ve been following Lindale since they beat Vidor, and they are averaging over 40 points a game for the season.   Great QB & a D1 RB.   Who do you like?

I'm hoping for a Lindale vs Corpus Christi Miller matchup in round 4. CC Miller averages 58 PPG this season. If you haven't checked out their scores from this season you will be amazed. The over/under for that game would be 100 lol.  Plus,  the Houston area is in the middle of both teams so that would definitely be worth the drive.

This is the head to head since 2007:

                                     HJ                         SIL

    2007                        2                             1

    2008                        2                            2

    2009                        1                             2

    2010                        1                             2

    2011                        0                             2

    2012                         1                            1

    2013                         0                           2

    2014                         0                           2

    2015                         1                           1

    2016                         0                            2

    2017                         0                            2

    2018                         0                            1

    2019                         0                            2

    2020                         1                           1

    tot                             9                         23

After the teams split the first 10 games, Silsbee has won 18 of 22, and has won the last 0.

figured I’d help you out, AAW, since this is your favorite post to make (I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it after every one of those last 8 wins by silsbee).  I’m sure that next long streak is coming soon, so I’m gonna enjoy this win real quick :)

I agree, these numbers literally show up before and after every game between HJ and Silsbee no matter who wins lol. I predict next season HJ will win the series and have 2 wins in a row against the Tigers.

Well at least we've denied Hardin Jefferson the chance to give us our first district loss in a long while.

Hard to win a game when you can't make any shots. Silsbee rarely stopped HF when they took the time to set up their offense. They'd just drive to the basket and kick it to mainly one player, get a lay up or a foul called. Their point guards did a good job of not giving the ball up for the most part.

I can feel that 3rd round playoff loss coming now......if we get that far.

More like a second round loss to Yates if they lose to HJ on Tuesday... HJ will be more ready to play knowing they basically have the District Championship in hand if they win Tuesday.

Keep hearing how good (and dirty?) La Vega is, but Carthage has so much experience at this.  Probably be a great game, but I can see LV making some kind of major snafu late in the game, and the Dawgs capitalize to win.

Btw, don’t cancel your Texas Live based on my post.  My Bookie lives in a $750,000 home thanks to me.  😄

La Vega has a good amount of experience as well at this stage
