WOS will get beat in the second round of the playoffs..........My prediction between WOS and HF is 45-7 WOS........Expect for Newton, WOS has not played a elite team all season to test for accurate weakens both sides of the ball.......I can only say they cannot hold on to the ball on offense and there secondary is questionable against the pass......If they go against a team like Gilmer or PG they will have to get ready for round ball and buy tickets to AT&T. WOS dynasty run has been over with for the past two years and there is a new Daddy in town the Newton Eagles. WOS, "What are you going to do when the Eagles goes wild on you next year?" Oh! Ya'll will make excuses why the Ponies lost (formerly Mustangs). 3:16 Hardcore........That's the bottom line because Hardcore said so.
First off, WOS will not get beat in the second round of the playoffs. If WOS gets past Jasper in round 3 I believe they make it back to the State Championship. PG doesn't throw the ball a lot, therefore WOS won't have to rely as much on their secondary if they face them down the road. They will have to score points though which seems to be a problem for them right now.

WOS will win this game but I'm still not too sure along with a lot of people on how good WOS really is. They battled with Newton and Silsbee but I really wish they would've played Jasper and Crosby to see where this WOS team is at.

Title could be posted as #1 vs. #2.
I just went with the ranking that has North Shore as the better team. Because they clearly are better than WB
-
Predictions?? North Shore by 2-3 touchdowns

5A D2 is going to be really interesting. I think everyone can agree that Aledo will be in the championship game from the region 1-2 side of the bracket. Calallen is the favorite out of region 4. Region 3 has Manvel, FB Marshall, A&M Consolidated, Hunstville and maybe Barbers Hill or PNG could make it interesting. My prediction is Aledo vs. Manvel

Hawks are better than their 0 - 6 record and our defense is suspect!!
The Hawks must've found something in the last two weeks. They put up a good fight against a pretty good HF team and is keeping up with Silsbee so far tonight.

Don't worry. I'm an HJ fan. I know what it's like for the football team to be bad.

I'm probably going to pick EC (not that it means anything) but I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer than expected. Pretty good little rivalry game.
Related note. I think it's hilarious when someone says that their team "hurt themselves" by turning it over or fumbling.. More times than people want to admit the defense of the other team CAUSED the turnover or fumble. Either directly or indirectly if your team is putting the ball on the ground it may be because of the defense.
It's definitely EC's running backs not taking care of the ball. Just hold onto the ball and the fumbling won't be a problem.

I would say that EC struggling with HJ is a worse sign for EC. Hughes Springs is no joke. Hamshire-Fannett hurt themselves in Hughes Springs.
Hamshire-Fannett 35
East Chambers 21
EC fumbled three times against HJ and scored points on all their other drives so I would say EC hurt themselves last week. If EC cleans up the fumbles HF doesn't stand a chance. I don't believe HF can score enough points to keep up.

36-29 Coldspring Final according to Football Friday app
-
Looks like it’s gonna be a long year for the hawks
-
They better find a way to win 2 district games so they don't have to play Jasper in the first round

They did. Ken Stanley, who used to coach at Hemphill, is their new coach.
Don't know anything about him but things can only get better at Coldspring with the new coach. HJ vs Coldspring will be much closer than last years meeting.
