North Shore up 21-0 in the 2nd quarter. Katy losing to Ridge Point 21-14 at the half. Katy's starting RB got hurt in first half.

To be honest I wasn't impressed with Manvel the 2017 team was way better than this one. Any team with a good offense is going to beat Manvel.
The 2017 Manvel team was something special even though they didn't win state. They were really fun to watch.

There’s nobody in 4A region 3 or 4 that stands out over everyone else. It’s basically anyone’s game

I like the Diboll vs Malakoff but it might be between them and Wall
Yeah, Wall was the other team I was thinking about instead of Malakoff

WOS if they can stop the turnovers and offense start blocking more
Newton haves a shot at it but after the gilmer game idk
Lufkin can have an shot but they going have to face Longview Maybe in the fourth round and beat them but I'm sorry to say I don't think that going to happen doe
North shore is a maybe they might meet Katy tigers in the fourth round and tigers beat them earlier in the season
Diboll maybe semifinals but not state
This is mines WOS , Newton , San Augustine, North Shore
Lufkin is 5A Division 1

North Shore, West Brook, WOS, Jasper, Newton, Diboll, San Augustine

#1 Grandview lost tonight. Diboll has two quality wins now over two good teams in Jasper and Franklin. Does the Grandview loss now make Diboll the overall favorite to win the region.

Telling kids to let them score means nothing.Im not rising no cowards.I don't care how for you go in the playoffs. You win like a man.You lose like a man
I agree. Losing on purpose should never have to come into the equation, but I'm pretty sure high school players would rather make it to state rather than getting knocked out in the first round. I wish the UIL would change how 6A does it to prevent this from happening.
-
When WB is several rounds deep in D2 playoffs. WB fans will be glad they lost this game. WB can't survive in Division 1, everyone knows that. If they lost on purpose they played it safe to give themselves the best opportunity to make a deep run in the playoffs. Once again, 2 weeks from now this loss means nothing to WB fans.

Some people are saying they lost on purpose and one person said the starters played and just loss. Which one is it?

I think their chances are as good as anyone's
Grandview is the only team standing in their way in my opinion. EC almost knocked them off next year so they're not unbeatable.

First off, jasper didn’t, and in my opinion wouldn’t beat West Orange this year. So it’s hard for me to say what I would say in that instance.
However, I can say that if WOS got beat by an unranked 3A team, I wouldn’t be calling for them to win region in 4A.
Calpreps projected Jasper beating WOS by 3. Not sure how accurate that is but they also projected Diboll beating Jasper by 6 so.

You guys were unranked when y’all beat #2 ranked Jasper. Anytime #2 ranked 4A team drops a game to an unranked 3A team, it’s embarrassing.
You guys have a good team and should go several rounds in the 3A playoffs, IMO.Jasper, however, had proven year in and year out (but especially this year) that they should never be spoken of in the same breath as teams like WOS and Silsbee. Jasper has played one good team this year and lost.
“Our” refs and players are dirty? What kinda women are y’all out there? First of all, any football fan knows that there is no such thing as “our” refs. And if that bunch of softies that are suiting up for us this year managed ti hurt some of your players’ and parents’ feelings on the field, I’m kinda worried about y’all’s toughness.
And it kinda makes me think that y’all may only be a couple of points better than that sorry Jasper team.
1st sentence: Jasper lost to a "unranked 3A team"....its called pre season rankings. Diboll couldn't get their ranking up to what they are now in the first 3 weeks of the season.
2nd sentence: "You guys have a good team and should go several rounds in the 3A playoffs, IMO"
I'm a little confused on your opinion on Diboll. Second, say Jasper plays and beats WOS in week 6, are they still not good because they lost to a now 8-0 "unranked 3A team at the time" #5 Diboll???

The way the brackets line up that's when each of those three teams will play each other. But when one of those three teams makes it to the state quarterfinals like I believe one of them will because I don't see anyone else in region 3 beating them than they will play a team like Navarro that could knock them out.

I highly doubt they lost on purpose. Do you have evidence of that statement?
Cause if you don’t, then you might not want to suggest that they did. Otherwise, you are calling into question the integrity of their coaches.
Here is the evidence. I remember seeing this last year. Smart play by Temple even though they lost in the first round anyways.

I know they are the favorites but they all need to get a lot better. Each one has their issues and are beatable at this point in time.
The only time Silsbee, Jasper, and WOS are getting beat is when they play each other. Round 3 will be Jasper/WOS and the winner will play Silsbee in round 4.

Jasper might make it out of the first round. They got handled by unranked 3A Diboll... Jeez.
Diboll is legit. Undefeated so far this year. Their defense has given up 33 points all year. That's 4.125 points per game their defense is giving up. Jasper lost one game to a really good team. Other than that Jasper has been dominant in every other game.

Jasper, WOS, and SIlsbee should be the favorites out of this region. The winner of Region 3 should play Navarro out of Region 4 to see who makes it to state.
