I think baseball needs to change the way they do the playoffs.  Stop the coin flips where 1 team can win the flip and play 1 game, and another team can win it and choose a best of 3. Everyone should be required to play the same format.  I personally think best of 3 is the way to go.

For those of us who like a little Sci-Fi, or far out, the first season of Manifest indicates a pretty good series, although the writers may be screwing it up.  It’s about a plane that takes off from Jamica to NY.  It goes through a weird storm and when it lands, 5 years have inexplicably passed.  
It never dawned on me that this might be loosely based on an actual alleged incident.  This plane took off in 1955 from NY to land in Miami.  It allegedly landed in Caracas, Venezuela in 1992, and no one aged.  For those of you, like me, who find this stuff (bs?) interesting, read on.

What if Nederland was the next Columbine, sandy hook, or Santa fe? Would it matter if your city becomes famous for having 40 year old schools that dont have modern security measures in place? Day to day. He said he hopes to get back in a day or 2. This neck strain isn't related to anything that kept him out last season.

Former newton qb still close to the program, has been saying that the job was the son's whenever coach decided to hang it up. They like what he has done in the past when filling in.
