WOS would not lose a game in 20-4a district. All these people think Nederland and Vidor is this and that . Smh I can put any money WOS would beat both teams by at least 2 td's. Heck silsbee would even give them two teams a run for their money because no matter what, SPEED KILLS in football and that's a proven fact
Kvillecats of WOS? Lol
ROFL!!!
Just noticed something Mr. Garrity, almost 35,000 posts..YOUR THE MAN!
 2.
Why...why...why start this nonsense again? Instead of being so interested in our mythical chances in 20-4A, why not give more focus to what's in front of the Mustangs...like FIRST winning district, THEN game planning against playoff teams in THREE-A. Can't you be satisfied with the 3A classificiation and the strength of competition in the playoffs? There are more than a few teams in 3A capable of beating WO-S...yes, even THIS year. Pipe down on the hype. We ain't done nuthin' yet!  ::)
I totally agree. The same is true of Memorial, Nederland, Vidor, and everyone else. Four more weeks fellas. Fans are fans, talk is cheap. Makes for a fun board though.

 4. The choreographer should be the Dallas Cowboys new offensive line coach. They were totally in sync and NO FLAGS..Cowboys can't even run a simple play without one  ;D
 5. Don't like the way he said it but I do feel that WOS-Silsbee game will be a measuring stick but for both sides. I think the final score will play a big factor in each teams mental makeup for the playoffs. As Jim Ross would say, "it should be one helluva slobberknocker."
 6. WOS is not in 4A so it really doesn't matter....but it kind of amazes me that people think that we couldn't play with the Bulldogs and Pirates. Games against either one would be close amd more than likely could go either way. I think we have established we can play with LC-M, Central and PN-G this season. We have a recent history of defeating the Bulldogs. WOS won in 2008, 2009, and 2010 by margins of 20, 21, and 21 points (admittedly not Nederland's best teams) and should have won in 2011 (to an 11-5 Bulldog team) but lost by a point (vidor lost to them by 3 points). While I don't know about winning that particular 4A district, but I do feel the Stangs would certainly be in contention for a playoff spot in that district this year. Not saying WOS will win a playoff game, shut every team in district, or even play in Arlington. That is a long road that can take many twist and turns. We do get better each week, this is probably our best team in years, and I am just happy that our odds are better than a lot of other teams to get to where we want to be.
 7. raidergirl, the coach should bring you in at halftime and give a pep talk..you'd be good at it. Unfortuantely, Dr. Livingston, I presume will win 35-7.
 8. Silsbee is capable of going 3 rounds deep.
 9. PLAYOFFS??? I just wanna win 4 games.  ;D
 10.

get off the gas  ::) 1.PAM 2.WOS-only because they beat nederland 3.nederland 3.newton 5.vidor.
They beat them in a scrimmage, now Nederland's offense is starting to heat up
Scrimmages don't count. 1)PAM 2)Nederland-Because they have played better opponents and are probably more complete offensively and defensively combined than WOS. 3)WOS 4)Vidor-They have earned this position 5)Newton-They have been dominant where Silsbee does have the one loss. Silsbee very close 6th.

Carl Wiley is a hoss and right now OF has nothing to lose and that can be very dangerous on a football field.
Is this Carl Wiley kid the son of a WO-S graduate by the same name?
To be honest I have no idea.
Carl and his brother both transferred from WOS I believe
 12.
comming off a bye week  the mustangs must come out with fire in there eyes some teams come out flat after haveing a open week
that, plus we are kinda of a slow starting team on offense..just don't think it will be over at the half like some think.
 13. Here's hoping the "old" river shootout is a better game than the "red" river shootout
 14. Hard to compare, first of all the 86 team was in a bigger classification with probably better teams. The  offenses were more smashmouth than now as the spread wasn't being run (at least to the extent it is now). Certainly, this years defense would compare favorably on talent (possibly even surpass the 86 team). I think you judge by results and the end results are yet to be seen.
 15. Buna stays in the playoff hunt by 12..final 24-12
 16. I think last years OF game will still be fresh on the Stangs mind..it won't happen that way this year. Stangs 44-0.
 17.
Silsbee & WOS will obviously make the playoffs.. who will be the dark horse? Orangefield Bridge City Hamshire Fannett Hardin-Jefferson Buna
Bridge City with OF a really dark, dark horse.
 18.

sounds like the tigers had a super game plan lastnight and the cards played there hearts out and never gave up.it was good to see so many wo-s players and coaches there now thay saw first hand what comming after them in time
The Tigers did play a great game last night. But I still give WOS the advantage in the final game of the season. WOS has a great team. I just hope the game comes down to a real showdown. And proves to be one of the best games of the year in Southeast texas. The stands should be packed for this one.
I agree should be a great game. Two great teams. The way a district championship SHOULD be decided. Hope we can keep our part of the bargain.
 19.

If we can keep this offensive output alive, we can put pressure on this  Pirate  offense to feel like they need to score every trip down the field.  Could work to our advantage.  All of that ball faking and misdirection stuff sometimes puts the ball on the turf.
Good luck with that, Vidor's defense is like WOS, they are everywhere and they are fast, Remember Lumberton put up 25 on PNG. Congrats on the big win though, played 4qtr's and that has to help your confidence.
Not sure I would compare Vidor's defensive speed to WOS, but they are well coached and recognize plays very, very quickly. I have only seen them a couple of times but they really like to blitz and try to funnel everything up the middle. Qb has to make quick decisions or have a bigger O-Line than their D-Line that can pound them. Just don't think Central has either...Pirates by 17.
 20. Good win Tigers, sure looking like an end of the season showdown, now we both just have to take care of business. Honestly, don't see anyone playing you close until that last game. Cards, good effort. I still think they will be the third place team,
 21. Kinda think the L-Train has already slowed..any more it would be a complete stop. Maybe more coal in the fire.
 22.
Does it really matter about PA News? Heck most of mid county grew up in Port Arthur as kids. The office got moved to Turtle Creek Drive from Downtown. Everything PA is trying to do is moving towards Nederland/Port Neches. The question should be why they arent trying renovate the West Side or downtown area. They just letting the city die except for the north area, which by the way is where they built Memorial HS.
If not for LSC-PA what would be left of downtown?
