Now they will have to have some help even if they win out except WOS. no way will they win that game [/quote] Assuming WOS and Silsbee win out until they meet, wouldn't BC have to lose to both HJ and Orangefield and Buna would have to beat OF to get in.

I personally saw him throw the ball 50 yards as a 7th grader. He has some things to learn to get better, but he is pretty confident and determined kid. He will be Ok, he works hard. The freshman Dillon Sterling looked pretty good against OF in JV game. I think the WOS QB position will be in good hands over the next few years.

Can't see them beating BC, may have a chance with OF but I still think OF takes them. They probably would have to beat them both IMO to get in. Wish them luck.

[/quote] He could have the best arm of any Mustang QB ever, he is big kid that had played linebacker and receiver. He isn't the quickest Qb but he does run with power.

[/quote] At least we make the playoffs..any team is battle tested included the Mustangs if they make it that far. We don't have to talk our team up, our record on the field for the past 30 years does that. I believe that Coldspring, LaMarque, and Navasota have had their share of epic fails also in that 30 year period. Most Mustang fans respect those team, our players certainly do.

Our baseball was once good and our basketball has been up and down. We are, however, on the rise for sure with baseball and I think the basketball program is on the rise also. We should never have let the basketball and baseball programs deteriorate so far down.
