I like WO-S to extend the victories in this series

Just making an observation. We shall see. Also, with the explosion of the NE, N, and NW suburbs around Houston, maybe the 6A/5A cutoff will go up causing WB to drop.....
-
That's a given though lol. With BISD having an Early College HS, which stands alone as far as numbers go, I don't see BU going back up but I do see WB dropping which will be sweet relief for them not having to chase the NS's and the Atascosita's of the world. But, like PAM found out, 5A ain't sweet and sometimes, like in the case of Temple, programs drop too and prevent an assumed dominance

#13 put the clamps on him when they were playing in the 1st quarter

Dems the rules. If you win District or come in 2nd, you get a home game 1st round. Remember, Dave Campbell had that team pick 4th last year and I was thinking the same but was pleasantly surprised when FW and LP didn't live up to previous rep. Anyway, calm down and just watch

Throwback: Lincoln vs Dayton bi-district game 1999
Austin1985 replied to wbfan's topic in High School Football
Probably so. The only reason Boob West had anything good to say about Bone(Coach Washington) was because Bone would blow 2nd half leads to TJ...... -

I don't know who that last player was but he called out Boob West. I love that -
It's not a turnaround but getting past the 1st round but my lil homie doesn't understand how tough Dist 10 5A is and how tough the region is. They will be fine until the playoffs
-
BH aspires to be like SLC. Unlike SLC, they won in 3A and 4A so the tradition was set when they hit 5A. I predict BH will be food for the NS and Atascosita's of the world. Even WB will have a seat at that table......

Thoughts on Your Team's First Scrimmage?
Austin1985 replied to RedJollyRoger's topic in High School Football
1. it was WB 2. the QB couldn't run 3. They played a gang of sophomores during the Varsity portion which some of those kids maybe played in the JV portion. If I were a WB fan, I'd be slightly concerned they didn't do more damage -
Art Briles completely exonerated by the NCAA

He didn't..... Art didn't rape but it was on his watch........ -
I hope that TV money is next. The supremes may render another 9-0 decision in favor of the labour/athletes
-
They need to hire me as a strength coach. Those spotters were horrible. Good luck to them though
-
I will never, ever understand working people siding with management/institutions. NIL is nice but that real money is still going to coaches and conferences. I'll get excited when Nick Saban and nem get paid with education like they wanna keep the labor(students) or the whole system crashes
-
Not at the expense of the players not getting paid with that long TV money though was my greater point
-
Funny thing, they're still not getting any of that TV money. Part of why OU and TU are moving to the SEC is Disney(ESPN) paid 300 million just for that 230 Saturday SEC game. So, in the short term, OU.TU have to pay 78 million each to the remaining big 12 members. Long term, SEC member schools can make 40 million per year and that number will grow with the increase in TV money. Only when the players get that TV money is when the labor/talent will truly have just compensation. NIL is just a distraction while the Power 5 schools still collect that TV money and make millionares out of strength coaches
