no-look reacted to Hupernikomen in Tarkington Playoffs???
The playoff teams will be Tarkington, Coldspring, Shepherd and Diboll. Coldspring will win the district and 2nd through 4th is anyone's guess at this point.
Tarkington versus Shepherd will be a huge game tonight in determining placement in playoffs.

There could be other reasons than just didn't want to play. -

The AS coach is a stand up guy. I'm sure he has the best interest of his team in mind. -

These clowns do not realize by pushing their "agenda" they strengthen ours. Kountze has sent them away with their tails tucked once now they are pushing to go 0-2 in our district.

no-look reacted to Hupernikomen in Spurger water boy situation
This 8th grader was busting his tail passing out water bottles for two straight years to the team that won the unviersal tournament of world champions held in Fred, Texas. Heck, he even hydrated the refs in between games without being asked to do so.

I think there is to many checks and reads at the varsity level for an 8th grader. He has to check to make sure the mixture is just right on the gatoraid and he has to be able to read the players and know when they need water. He has to anticipate the time out. I mean what if he gets blind sided by an officials timeout and he just freezes!! It could cripple him for life. I mean look at what happen to John Rocker and all he had to do was throw a baseball 60' 6" -

The youngster is a true prodigy. Most would go with senoirity but this kid is special. He pured an astonishing 0.12 second 24oz glass of water at the combine as a 8 yr old. Spurger better watch out, talent like this usually heads for greener pastures. -

We are very thankful to have all of them. They are good, hard working, dedicated, young men.
As the season goes on, we ask the Lord for success and health the remainder of the year for all of our kids, including these young men.
Thanks

no-look got a reaction from Englebert in 49ers at Cowboys thread.
The days of competitive Dallas Cowboy football is over. If you want things to stay the same just keep doing what you're doing. That whole organization needs a transplant beginning with the owner. Maybe Jerry can sell some Michael Sam jerseys at his Victoria Secret outlet. It's hard being a Cowboy fan. -

The game is much arid at the varsity level. Not sure if an 8th grader is ready for the sheer speed at which water is required. -

Needed to clarify, I am not personally related to the 8th grader. I have a friend who works with a cousin of mine who has a step-child with a momma who said this kid was the real deal. I just think he needs his chance. -

I personally don't think 8th grader is ready for that kind of responsibility.... I know a kid that forgot to screw the caps back on the water bottles and when his services were rendered late in the 4th quarter water went everywhere..... Scene I replay again and again in my nightmares

Thanks for the prayers.. X ray was negative. You are wrong falcon, this is not the same old Huntington as in years past.
You were not at the game and you have no clue how well those 2 teams played. -

It almost appears to me that having such an interest in Southeast Texas highschool football, one would require portions of insanity, rather often. I welcome insanity if motives are pure.
Thanks
