I do not know of any coach in any sport that would keep a player on JV if they could make a big difference to the Varsity team. I know a few mediocre players that have sat the bench on Varsity so that the better, younger players could play. Coaches do actually want to win.

Leaches on the public dole. 
 
The slug, dropout that is getting it for free or paying $10 a month thinks that is great but for the guy working for a living and it goes from $500 a month to $800 a month, not so much. 

Typical to blame the coach. I don't have a dog in this fight at all...and I could care less how OF does in girls bball. But I have friends that coach..why? I have no idea. But I can say this..how is it that you can say one of the best players was on the JV. Based on what?..how she did against JV teams? And putting a "mediocre" jr on JV. Ever think about this..maybe the coach didn't want a bad jr taking minutes away from younger kids who could get better. That's what I would do. If you're a jr or sr and still bad enough to be put on JV...it's too late. You're going on the varsity bench and not taking anyone's minutes.

Keep ridiculing the coach tho.. That will make things better.

It took a while, but it finally affected me

I just found out my 90/10 insurance plan is being eliminated for next year. Our best plan going forward will be 80/20 and my monthly cost will increase a few percent......

I 100% agree - From 2004-2009 we had some really good girls basketball players in our area.

It's not only Silsbee. I used to enjoy watching Silsbee , HJ, Orangefield  and Kountze. It wasn't unusual to see them put 80 on the board on any given night. The game overall is just down right now on the girls side. I think it's more a lack of interest than a lack of talent.

Well this escalated quickly.

This is the only volleyball game I have been able to attend - LC-M is really good. Their middle blockers are very fun to watch.
 
I don't think it has much to do with enrollment, because they have an awesome youth program that teaches them the fundamentals, much like Orangefield had in basketball when they were dominating the area.  

Some girls not all would rather play Volleyball and Softball, not as much running involved.  I am speaking in general not just silsbee. :)

Wrong- Mr. Obama is an absolute economic genius. Just as he said this is the most peaceful and tranquil time in our history, he has personally engineered a robust recovery. Only problem is, the middle class (for whom he claims to be the biggest advocate)has seen its income/purchasing power decline by more than ever before.

Golden Triangle Elite Gold went 4-0 this weekend in the NCAA Approved Showcase in Houston The John Lucas Last Stand. It was a showcase for girls to play in front of over 60 - 70 College Coaches in attendance. They had teams from Virginia, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The team played very good and impressed a lot of college coaches that where there.
Members of the team was Megan Worry Sr. (Lumberton), Taylor Jacks Sr. (Lumberton), Alix Sellers So. (Lumberton), Kennedi Lofton So. (PA Memorial), Megan Wilkerson Fr. (Lumberton), Essence Templeton So. (Ozen), Derrica Garrett So. (Central), Savana Sr. (Evadale), Tori Thompson Sr. (LCM). 

Again, I didn't get it off of anything. In fact I doubt that you can find anything I said on wikipedia other than a quote of the First Amendment and you can find that in a lot of places. 

I have no problem with prayer at school or school events.  I do however think there needs to be some level of seperation from school and church.  The few do have the same rights as the many.  My kids know they have the right to pray and worship their faith anytime they want too.  If your kids grow up in a Godless country its not the fault of the school or the country.  If your child grows up in a Godless country it is because you as parents failed them not the government. 

We need to be a lil more foward in thinking. I am a Christian and loved the prayer at the game. That being said , what is going to happen in 100 years or so if schools are allowed to influence religion. There are extreme religious groups that do and say things in "the name of God". I for one don't want my kids and grandkids to be subjected to this. It could start with a prayer at a football game and could go to teacher led classroom prayers. Then on from there. It is slow process but can happen.

Article III Section 1 of the US Constitution says "The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court". 
 
Section 2 goes on to say: "The judicial power shall extend to all cases, in law and equity, arising under this Constitution". 
 
So the SCOTUS has the judicial power of the USA. That power shall extend to "all" cases arising under the Constitution. 
 
Cases have come before the SCOTUS regarding your question and under the Constitution, they have rendered verdicts which they have the constitutional authority to make (See Article III, Sections 1, 2). 
 
 
I can understand when people say they do not like or agree with a ruling. I can say that about Obamacare but the case was presented and a verdict was rendered. If you don't like some decisions, great. When you ask "why deem" if something is "constitutionally correct", read the aforementioned sections. 
 
It is like people only want to read the parts of the Constitution that they like and ignore the sticky parts. 

Nonsensical to the extreme.

Unfortunately the DA and judge skipped over the part that a 2"x4" is exactly that before it is made nice and oretty by planing.

This is more to do with stupid laws than anything else. All lumber has been labeled as the raw wood dimensions since the lumber business began and in all states. This was nothing but a money grab by a (likely liberal) DA. Next we will find out that a 6' extesion cord is actually 6'1" and it will cost a million dollar lawsuit because the cord is too long and someone might not know how to handle that extra inch.

Well, lets get it back on shall we?
