  1. I can't remember a Jasper skill position group with so many game breakers.
  2. The Bears seem to be an improved team over recent years. The Bulldogs were sloppy last week with a ton of penalties, but they won't be this week. Jasper 45, LCM 20.
  3. Yep. Really sloppy despite the score. Coach Barbay made sure to bring that up after the game. Lots to clean up.
  4. Jasper scores on a 33 yard TD run. 65-14.
  5. Yikes! Not good at all...
  6. Limbrick breaks another long TD run. That's five from scrimmage and one on an 80-yard kickoff return. 58-14 Jasper
  7. Nolan Smith scores on a 36-yard TD pass. 48-6 Dawgs!
  8. Agreed. Way too sloppy for a 34-6 game. Hopefully the second half will be cleaner. Limbrick scores his fifth TD of the night. 41-6 Dawgs. That was quick!!
  9. Carl Limbrick - 39 yd TD. Jasper leads 14-0. I don't believe that BC has any positive yards yet.
  10. That makes sense. I'm just used to you guys being so good at every level...
  11. Wow. What's different at the lower levels this year?
  12. What?!? That can't be right...
  13. It's hard to go against Newton when Silsbee's defense is suspect. Having said that, Silsbee will play better this week, but the Eagles will pull away late.
  14. Newton should probably shut it down on offense. There's no point in scoring anymore tonight.
  15. I'll ask Coach Walkoviak the next time I talk to him. I'm sure he'll remember.
  16. Seale was something else. He and Willie Cade were monsters on Jasper's defense in those days.
  17. I remember Jasper beating them 82-0 in '89 and then losing to them a few years later. They have athletes, but coaching makes all the difference in a place like that.
  18. A friend of mine on Facebook said that Jasper scored on each possession during the live portion of the scrimmage and that QB Trey Adams accounted for four passing touchdowns and ran for one as well. He didn't say anything about the defense, but I'll see what I can find out.
  19. As Forrest Gump once said, he likes to use the F word....a lot. LOL
  20. I agree. It says a lot for someone to be so hateful to begin with, so his actions at the end didn't surprise me a lot. Brown's not a likeable guy at all, but a coach with some class would have never said much about him outside of his coaching ability.
  21. Did you see the one on the Cowboys? I hope Jason Garrett doesn't kiss his mother with that mouth. LOL
  22. I actually kinda liked the guy from Coahoma CC that was featured in Season 2. His team was terrible, but it was evident that he cared about the players and wanted it to be a good experience for them. I'd like to see what he could do with better players, but recruiting kids to play there has to be really tough...
  23. I'd like to see Netflix feature a good human being as a coach for two years. Buddy Stephens is a good coach, but not a great person and Jason Brown was all about Jason Brown, let alone being an awful coach and person. I know having not featuring a narcissist would hurt ratings, but I'd still like to see it.
  24. I don't have a problem with Jasper at #4 at all. They won't have a chance to prove otherwise until the West Orange game and if they win that one in Orange, they'll be deserving of the top spot. The schedule is pretty weak prior to that.
  25. I've always had a healthy respect for your town and its fans and I'm sure a lot of fans around the area would say the same thing. The Mustangs are always good and they will be again this year. There's no need to call out everybody for something very few fans do. Have a good day, young man.
