What in the world. Well the HF game will be interesting, considering there's a Silsbee kid on the their team.

I'm intrigued by the Stafford game. They've been a top 5ish team in 4A for a while, but we've never crossed paths with them as far as I know. PA will be tough in the morning. Silsbee will need to handle their defense better than they did in the first game.

Silsbee finally played two halves of basketball. I realize Humble ain't all that, but we'll take it.

Silsbee looses again to Westbury Christian. 58 - 51.

They ain't good to put it bluntly. Silsbee fans have been really spoiled the past 10 years or so, myself included of course. We may have to wait for the 7th graders to make their way to high school before we're that good again.

74 - 50 The Tigers came out working their second half magic once again.

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe try Beaumont ISD CTE on Youtube. They did the first Silsbee/WB game. I kinda doubt they do this one.

It's 24 - 23 in the 2nd. West Brook up.

It looks like Silsbee will play West Brook again at 1:30 tomorrow. I'm sure we'd prefer the Cayman Islands with how the season is currently going.

I don't think that St Thomas team was any good. I guess the Texas High game can show you the potential is still there. I think it's best we temper our expectations on what this team is capable of. If they can get hot towards the end of the season, then maybe we can reevaluate how we feel about things. Think about what Silsbee lost from last year. They lost 50 - 60 points per game to graduation. They're going to have to make that up somewhere. It looks like to me the freshman is at least the second best shooter on the team. If they can whip him into good shape overall, that would be great.

He might not be back till football next year. Current game is 69 - 44 for anyone who still cares.

44 - 27 now. Here comes the second half blowout.

Silsbee lost 58 - 54. It's going to be a long and miserable season if they keep this up.

Silsbee is down this year compared to last season. They lost a lot of key players from last year's squad. It's still not an excuse to be practically tied at the half of this game and get blown out. Not to mention be up by 9 on BU at the half and lose by double digits. They need to play better. We've got two young freshmen that'll need some time to break in. One will more likely be a future investment for next season, while the other will already see decent playing time this year.

Silsbee isn't going to beat any good team this year till they learn to play two good halves of basketball. I get you don't just lose a Jared Harris, Miller, Bottley, etc and keep things rolling like nothing's changed. They need to get it figured out before district starts though.

Silsbee should have 5 or 6 coming over from football. Johnson has a shoulder injury, so don't expect him to play. I just want them to compete well. Don't get embarrassed like they did against Lufkin.

Time for basketball boys. Nobody expected you to make it to the 3rd round this year. Y`all overachieved way beyond what was expected; so with that being the case, it was a great year overall.

The o-line did a well enough job of not letting Sanders for Bellville go nuts on us. I do think they have improved. I'm mostly concerned about our pass defense. If anything gets us beat Friday, that will be it.

Well I hope when/if Walker plays for Silsbee this year, he can put some serious beef under them boards for some rebounds. I'm not sure if Rice has had enough time to get back into top shape for b-ball after being injured or not.

We're now the last team standing from our district after tonight. I don't think anybody could have predicted that.
