Call me being picky, but I'd like to see us average in the 90s against teams like Lumberton. We lost a lot of scoring to graduation last year, and it needs to be at least partially made up with consistency. Any good team will beat Silsbee if we can't reliably get it from kids not named Payton.

I remember that game 🤦‍♀️ Speaking of La Marque, they might also be another threat if they're R3.

Reminds me of Bush's last year in Silsbee before football was over. He'd drop 50 on some teams and we'd still lose.

Did they just move to R3 this year? We should have seen them last year in the playoffs if they were R3 then.

Yeah, they're region 4. We're region 3. A little mixed up there. I see Payton scored 44 out of the 50 points for Silsbee. That's going to need to change going forward.

They're R3, but they're also a Houston area school. That's a little different from when we played teams like Levelland or Somerset. We'll just have accept our butt kicking today. What's important right now is that Silsbee has improved over last week.

What in the world. Well the HF game will be interesting, considering there's a Silsbee kid on the their team.

I'm intrigued by the Stafford game. They've been a top 5ish team in 4A for a while, but we've never crossed paths with them as far as I know. PA will be tough in the morning. Silsbee will need to handle their defense better than they did in the first game.

Silsbee finally played two halves of basketball. I realize Humble ain't all that, but we'll take it.

They ain't good to put it bluntly. Silsbee fans have been really spoiled the past 10 years or so, myself included of course. We may have to wait for the 7th graders to make their way to high school before we're that good again.

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe try Beaumont ISD CTE on Youtube. They did the first Silsbee/WB game. I kinda doubt they do this one.

It looks like Silsbee will play West Brook again at 1:30 tomorrow. I'm sure we'd prefer the Cayman Islands with how the season is currently going.
