This team ain't gonna beat anybody good till they learn to get rebounds and loose balls defensively. Somebody should have been in that Lufkin kid's face and let him know what he is when he committed that flagrant on Harris that somehow wasn't one. Not sure how pushing a kid while he's in the air doesn't count. Not saying anybody should have threw hands, but it don't sit right with me our kids just stood there after that happened.

Silsbee just can't catch a break with injuries. Johnson and Bottley are out.

There was a time when Silsbee would schedule softer teams before district. They'd play Kelly, Beaumont Legacy, East Chambers, Kirbyville, etc. Think they even played Hardin one year. They did make state a year or two during that era, but never won anything. They also went home a little too early for my taste a few times. I'd prefer it if they challenge themselves before district, even if they bite off more than they can chew sometimes.

Hightower blew this one. Were up by 11 and made a dumb decision on 4th down late in the game. Summer Creek - 35 Hightower - 31 Final

Mush have been before they built a bunch of those other schools. Think they're about to be on 12 schools now.

I'm just gonna assume Fort Bend Willowridge isn't one of the FB schools that benefits from the crazy amount of talent in the county.

Hopefully Silsbee turned a bit of a corner today. Lets get to an even 5 - 5 record with a win tomorrow.

They're not bad, but #2 is on another level compared to the rest of the team. I just hope the Tigers are less generous with the turnovers in the morning.

West Brook again already? #2 is the only kid they have that worries me, so lets do better this time.

They're doing what they're supposed to in this one. We'll be happy with an easy one for now. What in world has happened to Lagrange? They were a solid ball club a few years ago.

It's not that these games are that important. La Grange looks like a bad team. I would hope Silsbee in its current state could handle that pretty easily.

Silsbee is 2 - 3 on the season. Think we're playing Nimitz tomorrow morning. Ain't that Hamshire Fannett's old coach's team now? Might be thinking of somebody else.

Johnson is #3 I'd cut them some slack since they just stepped off the football field 3 days ago and maybe in a few weeks all will be right in Tiger land. Don't want to be on the verge of acting like West Orange Stark football fans over a few bad games, although I think some people in the crowd last night were already there lol.

Yeah....as much as Harris is the kid who's gonna be playing at the next level, this was always Miller's team. Silsbee will struggle to make it to region if they keep playing like they did Tuesday.

I think that's Baltrip. Might be wrong since Silsbee has 3 or 4 kids who look like that.

Lot of trashy ball by Silsbee tonight. Bad: -rebounding -turnovers -getting back on defense -ball movement. too much street ball. Lets get it cleaned up in the next few weeks.
