Silsbee will play in their district opener this Friday. They need to make sure to handle their opponent appropriately. Be nice it we could get near 100 percent healthy before some of these big tournaments.

Is BU playing in any big tournaments in December? Saw where they weren't going back to Arkansas with Silsbee this year. All in know is 21-6A is insanely loaded with talent. Crazy how one or two of those teams in district won't even make the playoffs.

This was a pretty boring and ugly game till towards the end of the 3rd. Might have been better for the Tigers if it had stayed that way. BU simply shot the ball better in the 4th and that was the ballgame. Silsbee still needs to improve on the defensive boards and loose balls. Not as bad as the Lufkin game, but not great either. Bold prediction: I think freshman P.Jones is gonna be a good player. Had a nice second half.

Looks like Miller is heading to Colorado now. I believe him and Johnson are the only kids not currently playing. Silsbee should have 10 or 11 kids they can trust in big games where every possession matters. Haven't see enough out of those others on the roster to know anything yet.

If Kountze is keeping most of these kids for at least another season or two, it might work for a brief time period. Tigers will be in a bit of a rebuild mode next year. Not sure I'd push it too much past that.

A lot of these kids have familes who've moved from town to town by the time they make it to high school. It's nothing unusual. Kids leaving for different schools works in many directions. The girl that Silsbee lost to West Brook went from Woodville to Silsbee to WB. The Moore kid has family in Silsbee. NOT saying that means anything as to where he ends up playing.
