I heard Lumberton took a page out of Mike Leech play book. Dropped a fake watch on the 50 yard line pre game. LCM picked it up, Lumberton sent in fake plays all night & totally tricked the LCM staff. Kidding by the way… don’t want anyone getting upset.

Interesting to say the least… what are the possible outcomes that could happen after this meeting?

Unbelievable, but it doesn’t surprise me with this staff… they are always into something I was told by a very reliable source that there are multiple defensive assistants at LCM that were with Smalley for many years at Ofield. Integrity is definitely lacking by this staff.

They had a very good season last year. People who instantly blame the coaches every time something goes wrong show their ignorance regarding athletics. Most nights they are outmanned athletically, success isn’t always linear Let’s give the guy a 4 year window to see a freshman class through before we claim he isn’t doing anything

Wow, congrats to Coach Erickson. Complete changes across the board for boys athletics in Orangefield the last year or so.

I missed this one, but also didnt realize they had 2 significant move-ins. They say the Donald kid from Westbrook is a stud.

Impressive run Orangefield has been on, they have been rolling for a while with multiple playoff runs. Shout out to that community & administration for making ALL the sports a priority. It wasnt that long ago basketball was an afterthought. I feel like Orangefield has one of the better small school athletic programs around.

Lack of talent and unrealistic expectations seem to be the downfall of most programs.

What are we talking about here? Equipment room? I know it’s late June, but surely we can talk about something with some substance.

Interesting hire, he was a good player but that doesn’t always equate to a good coach. I wonder who all applied? Why did the current coach leave?

This is interesting, has a guy whose team didn’t make the playoffs ever made an All Gold Team?

The real question is will woodville be able to do any damage in the playoffs? It doesn’t seem like they have made many deep runs despite their regular season success.

I would say a player’s offer list is pretty telling of a players ability regardless of sport. Sure there are misses, but not all that often.

I’m setting the Cards win total at 1.5 next year. I’m not sure they can win any district games.

Ofield hammered them 2x An average Buna team beat them 3/4 Anahuac swept them, with one of those being being a 20 pop W I get the optimism, but kountze was not a good club last year.

What changed with kountze? 1 great player is coming back I get it, but they got abused last year by anybody with any talent/coaching.
