I’m setting the Cards win total at 1.5 next year. I’m not sure they can win any district games.

Ofield hammered them 2x An average Buna team beat them 3/4 Anahuac swept them, with one of those being being a 20 pop W I get the optimism, but kountze was not a good club last year.

What changed with kountze? 1 great player is coming back I get it, but they got abused last year by anybody with any talent/coaching.

What is BC good at men’s sports? Lumberton? Great season in football, but nothing else. You sound like a guy that is a little bit bitter. I hope things get better for you and whatever teams you choose to like this year. Good luck!

Your telling me that Hunter Estes is not in the top 5? The day i saw them play he was only guy that looked like he had played ball outside of deweyville…. Evadale tourney about 10-12 years ago.

What a silly take… they are in the correct division based on enrollment set forth by the UIL. How are they “Essentially playing down”? Several schools in our area on the bigger side of their classifications and still aren’t achieving that much success. (Vidor & Lumberton to name a couple) Orangefield has been really good lately across the board.

Buna being that low in the standings seems odd, im assuming they graduated a lot?

I would throw Coach Mitchell in the mix, his old school style could be good for OF.

I do think the most recent year Orangefield was in 4A they finished 2nd to state semi-finalist Silsbee in the district according to maxpreps. They also had a lot of success against the local 4A district this year according to maxpreps.

Great job description, where is this posted? Sure seems like the Bobcats may just reload. Not too many schools in Southeast TX average 80 ppg.

The city of Buna may riot if Whitmire goes to one of their rivals and beats them for the next 4 or 5 years straight.

Didn’t Buna go from 1st to 4th? Im not sure that would be the best move for the Cats.

He was a great player, but he is young. I would imagine interviews start soon, I would love to see an applicant list. Is the Scales thing real? I was told he ran a AAU program at one time.

Wonder if the Vidor coach will bite? He knows the kids and seemed to be a good assistant with McDonald.

Something is going to have to change or you’re going to lose coaches. What is the point in grinding during the season to know you have to play recruit shops once you make playoffs? It’s extremely unfair for players and coaches.
