Ironic that the Muslim faith, as many Muslims interpret it, fits the modern interpretation of extreme racism, and is the most misogynist society that I know of, yet they're never mentioned/condemned in the liberal community or press.

It's called a job (Coach) vs and education to later get a job (player). Nothing messed up about that. 
On the otherside of this argument:
Scholarship Player doesn't produce on field. Scholarship Player sits bench. Scholarship player still gets education. 
Coach doesn't produce on field. Coach loses job. 
Therefore just like you and me Coach is always free to look for another job.

What was exposed rests on what that video actually showed and your thought of what is on it, as well as mine, is nothing but pure speculation.  As vital as the footage of that tape is, only a few, Coach Flanigan, select officials from BISD administration, a few detectives with Beaumont PD and a Jefferson County Assistant DA, have seen it and KNOW what is on that videotape.

This is one of those cases where maybe 2 wrongs do make a right. How many times has a criminal who takes advantage of children or elderly gone to jail and got their arse whipped or worse?  I don't know anyone who feels sympathy for or sides with the predator who got his arse beat in jail.  It's just the only way justice can be served at times. By whatever means necessary. I support the coach's intentions. His heart is in the right place. He made a mistake. Let's not crucify him for it.

I'll say this and you may think I'm crazy buddy but if this same scenario was taking place at Central, where I have 2 boys in the program, I'd be taking a stance with coach TF.  Regardless if my boys had any valuables taken or not.  Not that I am trying to get playing time for my boys, because I believe they will get what they earn.  In my opinion it was done out of true love and caring about his players and their personal items with no malicious intent.  So if it did happen across town, I'd be one taking a stance with the coach...

My suggestion is don't commit to the coach, commit to the university.

Babin's number 1 problem is the community. Lumberton has had a hometown coach with Crueder(sp) and he did well until he ran into some kids with less talent. And don't forget Babin was part of that staff and if my sources are correct was part of the change in offensive schemes, after he left and came back before he left again. The community has been ate up with the TIFI league kids winning and beating Kounce in the super bowl. There are some unrealistic expectations from the parents. I also don't think you can take under level records and expect them to transfer to Friday nights, a lot of changes happen in those couple years, especially if you have a bunch of juniors on jv...jmo 

From what I've read, heard and seen in different forms of social media, the majority of the parents that have kids in his program support him.  I feel rightfully so.  It's the one's that don't have kids on the team, never even been to a West Brook football game or any other extracurricular activity or simply don't like him that want to crucify him...
