Angleton I think. Myles is very Athletic not sure if he has the decision making down yet but he's plenty quick. I would say he's quicker than Dunn maybe even faster. Biggest hit for Crosby is the inexperienced O Line and no Reggie Branch. IMHO.

Yeah they pretty much dominated the district. Other than that game where Ned came out playing above their own heads, starters were usually out by the third. Dominated 5th ranked Texas High and would've have dominated Marshall if not for Dunn's ankle. That wasn't even the best Crosby team ever. The difference between Rio and Coach P is Prieto doesn't hoard all the talent on one side of the ball. Look forward to CHS getting better as that program grows.

BTW I don't like talking race however BH and their issue with dreadlocks is most definitely a deterrent. Especially with it being the most popular hair style for black children. All kids like to express themselves as long as it doesn't come from a negative place it should be at least considered. I look at SLC and the long bleach blond hair that they sported on their state run as an example. You could say that BH cares more about building character than winning football games but I'll call BS for one you can do both for two you don't hire TW and Asbek if you not trying to win a state title.

Crosby’s keys to victory are the same as Aledo’s. Rely on your preparation and above all PLAY FOOTBALL! Its just another football game. Aledo coaches and players won’t be talking about Crosby’s record and history it will be just another opponent just another game. Crosby has to play the same way. If they come in thinking they’re at At&T stadium playing against an elite program for a state title they will be beat before they get off the bus. Approach it just like the last 4 games play hard and the scoreboard will take care of itself.

IMHO. This is Crosby's game to lose. (Before yall get crazy)I was right about TH I was right about Huntsville and Marshall. If Crosby defense plays like they have played the entire playoffs this game could be a blowout. Pioneer almost beat LH with the worst defense I've seen played all year. Watched the game live and then re-watched (I get bored at work) kids made the wrong read and then gave up on the play defensively. However this is deep playoff football and heart and determination cannot be measured.Crosby cannot take LH lightly. Crosby's defense has to break LH spirit early . Play disciplined. And motivated to give your school its first shot at a state title. This game will be won by Crosby's defensive dominance 42-21

Going to be interesting. All Pioneer needed was a couple of stops. I'm all but sure we have better athletes on D than Pioneer. But the game still has to be played. Can't lie I like being the underdog.

Liberty Hill is a bigger stronger faster version of Vidor.

Dunn is a competitor. Thats why he was on the field. He thrives in the moment. Last year against FB Hightower in bball he scored 30+ points, the most all year, in a loss. He just would not give up. He's a big part of the reason the team is where they are. Hard not to follow a leader with that type of mentality and talent to match.....IMHO

FBM<Huntsville. Difference is Dunn being immobile.

Not to mention the fourth down conversions HHS made. Its extremely hard to tell what FBM is this year. Their biggest test was PNG and Montgomery. If not for crucial mistakes in the redzone from PNG we wouldn't even be having this convo. But are they that same team? I also think Fuse is a better CB than the game he had Sat. It should also be noted that our other CB Randolph Hubbard played his butt off last week. I think this game will be won by CHS defense. If they can get penetration like they've done most of the year. We have a great chance. As for Dunn he's probably a game day decision. Hope for the best because we're going to need that explosiveness if this turns in to a shootout.

Folks drive me crazy with the team comparisons to teams who haven't played. FBM is hard to gauge because we know they haven't played anyone all year its not debatable. They really should schedule a NS, Katy, or Ridge point early in the year. What we do know is they have a ton of speed on the field. As for Huntsville they lost because they should've lost. TEAMS win football games that includes staff and players. Don't come trying to tarnish our victory. Crosby made their mistakes as well. If you take away Huntsvilles timeout snafu take away Crosby's pooch kick. We still win. Crosby was the better team. Re-run it with everyone healthy and we probably beat em worse. Knocked off the #5 then knocked off #4 number 3 is on deck.

Been saying all week Crosby is the better TEAM. Both teams made their mistakes Crosby was able to overcome theirs. Think the wind had a lot to do with the missed targets. Hopefully Dunn is able to come back next week. Ankles can be a bear to overcome. The play before that should’ve been TD tho 😒
