Difference is Crosby is always a contender due to talent. Vidor never really is because they lack the talent a diverse community would produce. They do however have an excellent head coach IMO.

Should be evident that Rio only cares about quick scores. His clock management has been horrible this year. Probably always have been its just that he had guys like Craig Williams and Netherly who could bust a play open at anytime.

Back to football. I agree Howard ran a bit much this year. Crosby's passing attack would benefit from short quick passes IMO. Doucett's a 4.4 guy who could take a 5yd slant the length of the field.

Crosby’s defense is a lot better than the scoreboards have been showing. I wouldn’t be surprised if we led the district in defensive turnovers. With that said: those big backs from Manvel started coughing up the football because they simply got tired of being hit. I’d imagine superstar Shug will get the same treatment and produce the same results. This defense is a lot better than last years and twice as physical. Look out for number 14 getting after Shug all night

In order to get a real gauge of how good Crosby really is you have to subtract the first qtr of every game this season. Lol

In my short experience with Vidor (2 Games) they are not to be overlooked. They might not look the part but they come to play. I do think tho that PNG has the edge at home. If the game was in the swamp I’d roll with the pirates
