  1. You repeatedly use the term "shove" in this thread.  Not only did he not even come close to shoving her, the only resembling a shove in the entire video was the action she took towards him later.  You're trying too hard to find something to be upset about when it's simply not there.  If you want to find something to be upset about, how about finding some outrage over the insanely bloated salary she received from your tax dollars while not performing her job, all the while creating derision and divisiveness in our community.

how can anyone have any compassion for this person.  She robbed, cheated, etc... The $ ment for educating children.

she cheated the system and was biased in giving favor to her connections.

THE most racist public figure I can recall.  The tactics of the Butch regime were criminal and Cory will continue to get the rest.

  2. The perpetual victim.

She is a racist that took advantage of her "privileged" position and relationships to benefit financially and was part of THE most disgraceful Admin. SB, Hanger ons, etc...in the History of Texas Education.

Their scores, UIL improprieties, racism, giving $$$$ to their fellow buddies is unforgivable.

why do You think they are/will be GOING TO JAIL???

thank God for Cory, he is on a mission, that's why he hung on to finish cleaning house.

  3. I was talking about the last time PNG won a title. Otherwise I would've made the comment; "With your last 40 years of tradition you've only advanced one game further than Crosby". Not very becoming when it's said that way.

I'm sure you're significantly older than me and my parents are still alive, so yes you're dealing with their child.

Has Crosby won state in football?  PNG did 3 times. Couple of state finals, several semi finals. Bunch of quarter finals, Few dozen district titles.  Oh, and the # 3 team in the Nation in '75.  I truly don't know the facts on Crosby.

  4. Yes, some people will.   IF you can find a ticket, I invite you to come watch those who stayed home and will be playing for their town.  But what am I saying?  "Whoa" probably already knows most of the people from Lumberton.  ;-)

I know many from officiating at the daddy ball level and on the sideline at the varsity level. Most really good folks, its the school board.  Let me ask?

Why would ANYONE fire Haynes THEN hire a coconut that went 2-8?

one of the assistants told me the jr/sr class this year that bailed to PNG were, if I remember, Schults brothers, Hughes and someone else.

it is what it is, Lumberton perineal close to the bottom, Ozen and Central great athletes, Ned carries on as usual and PNG is always in the hunt.  None of us can get past the Houston area teams.  That's History of the last 10 years or so.

    anyone see it differently?

  5. Have any of you guys read the book "White like me"?. It might give you some insight on the black experience.

Another good read is Framework to Poverty by Ruby Payne gives insight to the how/why different races, typically act differently and why.

  6. Let me try and break this down for you in very simple terms and I will use this simple example for you. If you are a football player at Texas A&M named Nice Police  with a 00.5 G.P.A., and you post comments on social media with racial overtones, he or she  will be identified first as aTexas A&M football player, not by the name their momma gave them. And you already know this, man. So now, The P.A.Police (oops!) Texas A&M goes into damage control mode.

Only an Aggies would use two preceding 0s.

Curious, If the cops were African American slamming ?????? Say Perry, would the same attention be given?  It will get interesting with the racial make up of PtA gov.

  7. Honestly I never count out the Beaumont teams. My honest opinion is Vidor has better coaching and a ton of returners. Ozen is far superior in athletes but for some reason things never seem to click right that way. But I would not be surprised in the least bit if Ozen gets in. I think Ozen carries a better chance in the playoffs to win a round vs Vidors scheme.

Don't forget many Vidor assistants went to Bridge City.

PNG will be good, DBs gonna kill them, short, slow but go getters. The DL and LBs good. OL  suspect --- according to several PNG dads I play golf with.

still think Ned will pull an athlete out from somewhere and give it a run.  Gotta like Bmt's teams athletes, just no tradition, pride like WB or old Hebert, French, etc... That's what puts the PNG! NED, WOS teams a leg up.  To Bmt credit in bascketball they DO have that tradition, pride, which is why they dominate this area in basketball .

  8. I'm sure some will disagree with me, but I feel like "thug" is the new "n" word.  To me race relations aren't any better because it is only discussed during times of tension, after some crazy event.

Do you really believe they aren't better?  I am 58 and remember segregated schools, little league, etc... in fact, now in PAISD The Football, basketball, volleyball, track, golf, baseball, softball coaches as well as the AD, Supt., principals, dept heads, 99% of the School Board, all non-whites? Am I correct?

  9. Doesn't it feel good to get worked up over football in July. Just wait til Nederlands hell week comes Aug 24th - Aug 28th when the cats roll in to the triangle and kennel the dawgs for the 5th time out of 6 chances if you think your fired up now. The 56 that was hung 2 years ago was just a precursor. I'm predicting 70 this time around.

PND is pulling out all the stops.  Pre game reception with the State Champion teams of 53/55 and 75 then half presentation.  Some to speak at the pep rally, like 1995, then a complete weekend of after game party Friday Sat golf turney and huge Sat nite at the Pompano with the coaches (Ethridge 84yrs. Being honored) from the State semi teams of 74/76, State Finalst 77 and State champs AND # 3 in the Nation team of 1975.

I am a fan of Neauman and the experience he and his staff bring to the table along with his pulling a athlete out his a&$$ every year.

PNGs Giblin to commit to UTSA shortly.  Played golf today with some PNG daddy's got a ear full!!!

  10. I coached at Legacy in the Bel Cobbs era...there is a reason athletes go there...

Yes, it is usually because they had a problem with the public school system.  Absolutely no other reason.  Couple kids at PNG got to be held back their 8th grade year- for athletic reasons,  ISDs won't do that and a BC pitcher 3/4 years ago went there then transferred back to BC.  No facilities, exposure, competition, teachers typically aren't as qualified as ISDs teachers.
