GO DAWG GO!  Young man Jasper is so proud of you! It's been a pleasure and so much fun watching you play the past couple of seasons. Fortunately,(and sadly) we get to see you in a DAWGS uniform for one more season.
Another reason why so many of us love high school sports! The amazing journeys and life lessons young people get to go on and and learn from are priceless. 
When you and the young man from Silsbee(Miller) began your highschool football careers never did you think that when it's was said and done where you would be in life.  Opposing players in one of the longest rivalries in Texas Highschool Football to being two of the most popular recruits in the state and future team mates.  If the Aggies other sign ons are any where close to the the caliber of players we all here in SETX know you two are then the future of football in College Station is very bright !

Just caught Rockwalls 6A playoff game last night.  The former Jasper shortstop plays 2b for Rockwall.  He is leading their team in RBI and Stolen Bases(33)and has 16 doubles, 5 triples, and 4 HR. Last average they said was 380.

I was high on Jasper last season… I was shocked when they lost to Sealy in the first round… still scratching my head. Jasper should contend for the district championship. They have the athleticism to matchup with Silsbee. 

Don't sleep on the Bobcats. They might be in the preseason 6A top 10. 😁

Phil Hennigan, class of 1964, joined Max Alvis at Cleveland. Pitched five years for Cleveland in relief. But his main claim to fame was he beat a tall skinny, hard throwing kid from Alvin 1-0 back in 1963 I think it was. Anyone know the skinny kids name?

Congrats !! The future of Jasper football is looking bright with the Crumedy hire. I'm extremely happy for the Jasper folks

I'm a Nebraska fan and I know that he and Brittain Simmons (c/o '26) are both offered there. I'd love to see Rhule get some Jasper kids on that roster, but I would bet that they don't leave Texas. 
It's awesome that some of our kids are getting the exposure. It's a great way to motivate them...

Jasper better lose their (expletive) and get this fixed NOW. A lot of people perceive that place in a bad way, like it or not, and petty crap like this only makes it worse!

Nederland and PNG generally have the same type athletes.  Not a lot of D1 guys walking the halls of either school. It’s all about system and culture for both schools.  That’s coaching.  

One would think it would be helpful for the D to be able to concentrate more on the run.  Silsbee was a duel threat offense.  We'll see how this one plays out.

Thank you all for starting the game "early".  It is 1:06 am here in Barcelona, Spain.  But I wouldn't miss this game for anything!

Jasper will be the best team Silsbee has faced. I dont know if Silsbee is the best Jasper has faced as they have played Franklin which is a 3A Power and #1. Jasper hasn't seen a team as athletic on offense as Silsbee i dont think or a player as talented as Miller. Silsbee is no one man show. 

CC looked liked a homerun hire from the start.  If he and Bronson stay the course I think we will see Jasper at a consistent level that everyone expects of them.   The offense has such a long ways to go still.  Every pass looks like a hail mary.  In time I know that will improve.  The qb is the critical piece in this scheme.  He has the wheels that we need and won this game with his feet for us, but the finesse and timing on the passing game takes years to hone.   I would love to see more quick timing routes and action across the grain of play.  We a couple very talented wrs if we can get the ball close to them.

I hate to hear about what's going on down there. I really hope it's just a bump in the road and that WOS gets somewhere close to what Mustang fans expect very soon. That may sound a bit naive coming from an outsider that is long gone from the area, but I love the rivalry as much as the one we have with Silsbee. We've seen the downfall of teams like LaMarque, Willowridge, etc. and it would be sad to see you guys heading down that road. If Hickman isn't the guy, who truly is?
Now, Jasper fans have gone through this more than once and it looks like we finally found the guy that can bring us the same sustained success (or better) that we had a few decades back. Crumedy has that "it" factor and seems to have changed the culture from the minute he took the job. The Bulldogs seem to be getting better quickly, too.
