westend1 got a reaction from CAL2TEX in Supreme Court upholds Obama health care law
Here is the real story for you idiots that believe everything you read from a conservative blog:
Like all health care providers, Mercy is managing the impact of market changes, including reimbursement reductions from government and commercial payers, lack of Medicaid expansion in most of the states we serve and declining inpatient utilization. We have been expecting and preparing for these changes for several years and have made tremendous progress in redesigning the health delivery system to meet evolving needs. As part of our transformation, we have consolidated many non-patient care support services to streamline how we work and achieve greater efficiencies. We are in the process of further reorganizing our support services across all Mercy communities and anticipate reductions in that workforce ranging from 200 to 300 positions later this month. Departments affected are in support functions; direct patient care areas are not affected. Mercy is committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety and service as we undertake these changes. We recognize the impact of these workforce reductions on our co-workers and our transition plan will reflect our commitment to dignity and compassion. Mercy's total workforce is approximately 40,000 across seven states.

I agree hippy. My son would probably be a dope smoker if it was legal. Prohibition does have some effect. -

westend1 got a reaction from meihhlieq in Vidor at Beaumont West Brook Game Thread/WB wins 4-3!
Nice win for Brook. The two soph(Roedahl and Comley) pitchers kept Vidor off balance most of the night. I think Vidor had three hits. Lockhart gets the win pitching two scoreless. Fleming doubled in the bottom of the 6th to drive in the winning run. -

If im Lodge, no way I go to Aggie. Who wants to compete with Noil, Reynolds, RSJ, Pope, Quiv, Tabayu, Nacho and the new 5 star out of AZ? Gotta be a better fit out there somewhere.

And Steve, I can understand you guys no longer wanting to discuss the economy. Just a few short years ago, it was the only thing that mattered. Now, not so much apparently.
