Tell us what you read. All I have ever seen is that he voted for an en banc review of a gun ban case out of DC. Do you even know what that is or how he voted in the case?

I would like the facts also. Wonder why they didn't print his entire tweets? Was it so bad that they couldn't? And the 140 character business. I counted more than that in the parts that they did quote.

I'll play. When I think of a "thug", I am thinking of someone with a violent history. Robbery, assault, weapons charges, domestic abuse, etc. I don't include dope smokers or other petty criminals. So if I look at these names, just tell me the history of the guy. Don't know much about Martin. Saw the video of Brown pushing the store owner around. He's a thug in my book. So, black, white, Hispanic, whatever, a thug is a thug. So no, thug is not the new N word in my opinion.

westend1 got a reaction from CAL2TEX in Supreme Court upholds Obama health care law
Here is the real story for you idiots that believe everything you read from a conservative blog:
Like all health care providers, Mercy is managing the impact of market changes, including reimbursement reductions from government and commercial payers, lack of Medicaid expansion in most of the states we serve and declining inpatient utilization. We have been expecting and preparing for these changes for several years and have made tremendous progress in redesigning the health delivery system to meet evolving needs. As part of our transformation, we have consolidated many non-patient care support services to streamline how we work and achieve greater efficiencies. We are in the process of further reorganizing our support services across all Mercy communities and anticipate reductions in that workforce ranging from 200 to 300 positions later this month. Departments affected are in support functions; direct patient care areas are not affected. Mercy is committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety and service as we undertake these changes. We recognize the impact of these workforce reductions on our co-workers and our transition plan will reflect our commitment to dignity and compassion. Mercy's total workforce is approximately 40,000 across seven states.
