I would not brag W0-S, I think you have only played HJ 8 times and only won 8 times. Good luck throughout the playoffs. Humm, seems like a few weeks ago, I heard a few WO-S people complaining about old fashion coaching.  I say you have the best coach in the state
 
These coaches are blessed to have talent that is natural. These young men have dads, uncles, brothers, and such who mold them into awesome football players. The have role models such as E. Thomas, K. Smith, Cole's dad and others who play a big role into motivating them. Yes you are correct coach T is a fantastic coach, but it takes more than that.

I was told years ago about a thing called Swagger... There is 2 things in this world that will ruin my week.. First is getting our butts kicked by Nederland, 2nd is getting our butts kicked by WOS. WOS plays with Swagger, thats just a cool word for fire.. They will light you up at any given time.. Sometimes that could be after a play, during a play, before a play, etc. Its something I wish we had, but that being said, if you let the SWAGGER get to you, and you let the officiating get to you, guess what, you lose.. It happened to PNG this year after dominating the first half, the SWAGGER shut us up the second half...  But what I have learned over the years is this... As bad as I hate to lose to Ned and WOS, they are my second favorite teams... You hear about it game after game, but the results stay the same... And at the end of the day, everybody loves or hates a winner.... I just happen to love a winner.... WOS keep it up, because like my ole buddy EG said, everybody knows who WOS is... Can you say the same..

Let's go Stangs!!...here's to the hooterville faithful who will see their therapy bills escalate after the game, their medical bills increase due to having their stomach pumped because of crow, and their faith in Cinderella shattered.

Thought it would be fun to send a Halloween Message to the kids. I was hoping the HJ Fans would add their own thread to their team, just trying to add well wishes, hey I did my part. 

The video that I could view of HJ Hawks was the game with Kountez earlier in the year. Small team, slow speed, and no defense. I believe now even more that this game will be a blow out. WOS 56 HJ 17

HJ has scored 38 pts in 10 years combined against WOS...  I'm not saying you can't do it but you gotta prove yourself to get any credibility.  I have yet to hear what is SO dramatically improved this year to make me think you will win.  We've beaten the spread against every common opponent we've played last year and this year except for LCM. Good luck!

My  hope is that we have refs. that will let the young men decide the game. It seems as though when we play teams who finally reach a level where they get past district in some cases, the refs. seem to let things ride when they play WOS. I don't like that. I observed that type of officiating in the Foster game.

Alright I'll agree with that. Don't consider myself a coach T fan , but I admire a coach that doesnt put up with crap.

As far as I am concerned, it doesn't matter why. Coach T obviously felt that what ever Shaw did was worthy of tossing him off the team.

These teams have not been very good for along time, especially Scarbrough there have been times for years that they did not win any games at all. This is a true conversation,  I was working in the area at the time. A few years back I asked one of their football players have they ever heard of WOS, he said yeah, then I asked him, have they ever played us before, I was joking of course. The young man said "H### No!" we don't want to play them, those people will beat our butts". :lol:  :lol: I just thought that was so funny, he was sooo very serious at that time. If he was a freshmen then, he is still on that team. That team does know about the Mustangs. It goes without saying  Tradition and Respect everybody knows your name. October 31 st,  they better recognize!

The Mustangs are capable of stopping any offensive attack by any running back on any team as long as the play chain gang defense. That defense has been lacking in strength lately, although,  I think that the Stangs are peaking at the right time for a change, and they are getting better each game.  

I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to on side the second half kickoff. Wos is only taking 3 or 4 plays to score. Unless OF breaks a long run, it's a 4 or 5 minute drive. Time is against them

Look out for OF offside kicks and other trick plays in the second half.

I don't care how good Richmond Foster is, was or will be. WO-S is not, was or will be a 30 point dog to anyone. PERIOD!!!

Several things I have noticed is the OL blocking is less than average. In order for WOS to be effective they need to establish run game but also provide adequate pass blocking so the QB can find his receiver. WOS needs their OL to step up and be the backbone to this team if they have any chance to make it to through the region
