Dove, I am assuming you are questioning the integrity of the SEC? But, at the same time, you believe that the Clinton Foundation is a straight up organization. Would my assessment be accurate? ( just for the record, Mr. Trump does not do any direct investing of his money in the stock market)If you wish to go there, you might want to look a litlle further into Hillary Clintons investment of $1000 in the highly speculative commodities market and how she magically ( without any prior investment experience) turned it into $100,000 ( Her husband, at that time, described such speculation by others as " a gilded age of greed and selfishness, of irresponsibility and excess and of neglect") Interestingly enough, her "advisor" during that period had been disciplined for trading violations in 1977 and in 1980, he was barred from trading. OF course, this was all before Bush Jr. became President, but surely there is a way to blame him.

The man in office is certainly the cause for the decline in the coal industry (just one example)...your point is wrong...the man and the administration matters.
We are perceived as weak around the globe because the man in office is weak.
What do you even mean by wanting the POTUS to make life easier for the working people...the only way they can do this is get out of the way and let the free market work.
Quit taxing these businesses with these ridiculous corporate tax rates (that you seem to like) and let them reinvest the money in jobs and growth...not throw it away by giving it to the fed gov.

Nappy- the bankruptcy laws are a LEGAL means of handling certain circumstances ( you know, like the ones used to take money from General Motors bondholders and give it in the form of partial ownership to the auto unions) The difference between a legal bankruptcy and what the government does is the legal bankruptcy terminates a situation at some point thus preventing it from getting worse. In other words, Amtrak and the U.s. Postal Service , and, for that matter, the entire U.S. Government continue to get deeper into debt with little hope of coming out of it. If they had been private companies, they would have been erased long ago at a considerably smaller loss than they now would cause. Amazingly, we keep writing blank checks to support them.

Yes, but just think about how much more compassionate, fair, and tolerant we are today? When you were young, you had to earn your trophies- now you get one for simply existing. When you grew up, you were taught that, to get ahead in the world, you would have to work for it. Today, if you don't feel like working for it, there is a government program available to alleviate all of the inequities of society that have been thrust upon you.

I would like to say thanks to all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that I can enjoy my rights and freedoms in this, the most wonderful country in the world. A place where I grew up and have raised a family of my own. May we keep our precious rights and freedoms so that our descendants can enjoy life and so that our soldiers will not have died in vain. We owe that to them.

This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Too far to many people in this country, the Democratic Party, is not a matter of politics, but has literally become their God. Their Savior. Essentially worshipping a "golden ass" who answers their every wish or desire. Smh

But they are the only ones that will not allow groups like NAMBLA to continue to gain ground.
Liberals are the ones that couldn't care less about young children being exposed to transgenders in locker rooms and bathrooms.
They have no firm "line in the sand" on morality so with each generation it continues to move.
Liberals have so much criticism for the Christian when Christians are the ones that travel all around the globe, at their own expense, providing help to those in need.
Not directing this at you Bullets, but there is a growing numbers of liberals in this country that have the anything goes attitude when it comes to moral issues.

It's a gorilla. With that being said it sure sucks to have to kill your gorilla because some parent decided to neglect their child.

I'm fairly certain that everyone complaining about the gorilla being shot would have begged someone to shoot the gorilla if he'd been the one in the gorilla cage.

Saw this on the news. No other way to stop him. I hate that it had the be done but I'm not outraged. Had this gorilla slammed this young kid against a wall and killed him, these same people would be outraged because no one shot the gorilla.

baddog reacted to Englebert in ANOTHER ATTACK ON 2nd AMMENDMENT
You've never answered the question I've posed to you earlier. What does Hillary mean when she says she wants to hold gun manufacturers responsible in cases of gun violence?
Then let's hear your educated response to TVC's post right before.
Then let's hear your response to the Congressman that wants to ban guns for anyone that is going through a divorce.
Then let's hear your response to Diane Feinstein's assertion that all returning military personnel should not be allowed to own guns.
There are tons and tons more evidence of liberals wanting to take your guns than of Dick Cheney going to war to make money.
When Republicans proposed having to show identification when voting, liberals went nuts saying that Republicans are taking away the right to vote for millions of people. They starting spouting off about Jim Crow Laws and echoing of poll taxes. But when it comes to the second amendment...whoa, now that's a situation that needs to be heavily regulated by enlightened people. You should have to be identified, studied through background checks, and pay heavy taxes to exercise that right. Just imagine what questions would be asked on background checks if Cass Sunstein was in charge of writing them.

Wrong again nap, at least the first line. But to be fair, you got some of it right. Hopefully, if you hang out here long enough, you'll actually learn something (I know I do). Congress is not controlled by conservatives. It's controlled by Republicans. Unlike the Dems, who have to be liberal, the Repubs are not all conservative, although I wish they were. Of the original 16 vying for the Repub nomination, maybe half were conservative. As for as the ratings, they're almost always low, regardless of which party's in power. And in it for the "free stuff", I think you pegged the vast majority of Congress, R & D. And isn't that sad.
