No sir, you ARE mistaken. Nederland won the first three of the last 6 and WOS has won the last 3. One of those came at WOS. Two of them were in Nederland. Now, WOS HAS one the last 2 of their 3 in Nederland. Nederland won in 01 and 02 at Nederland. Stop showing the need for a history lesson and you will stop getting them. I don't need a history lesson. God knows I've seen your records enough. You people carry your record books in your hip pocket. ;D Every year is a different season. I guess after we whipped you 35-10 (excuse me if that's wrong. Lazeek, where are all the young guns? Either this course was very tough and all these players with -15 through-20 are really, really good, or this course was easy and Tiger played just well enough to beat Joe average. Need to insert some older players and give Tiger a run.

You might want to check the history books. Hebert was a powerhouse! And French tied Permian for the state title in 84 before they merged? I know about Hebert and French. I was talking about after they merged...which is what this thread is about....merging and making one super school. Except for Westbrook's win in '82, Bmt. schools haven't done that well going from 6 schools to 2. It was supposed to produce "super" schools, and it didn't IMO. Neither did PA.

Before Ozen, Beaumont eventually combined 6 high schools into 2. Beaumont High and Charlton Pollard became BCP, Forest Park, Hebert, and South Park became Westbrook. French High finally merged with BCP and became Central. Forming one "Super School" is not always a recipe for winning. Beaumont schools didn't fare well until Westbrook won state in '82, I think. Look at Memorial. One would think they would be very strong, but they are struggling. One thing always stand out, you need a great coach.....period. BMTsoulja could probably elaborate on Beaumont schools better than me.

Watson makes double-bogey and Cink birdies. Cink with a 4 shot lead going to the 18th hole.

Watson misses wide left in the tall rough, flubs the shot, still in the rough, and lays up down the fairway. Watson on the green in 4, Cink on in 2 with a chance for eagle. Watson will be lucky to save par with a 35-40 footer.

I agree..

Cink lags to within 3 feet. Watson makes his par after that fine pitch and run shot to within 8 feet. Cink still one up going to the 17th, which is an eagle hole par 5.

6th hole....227 yard par 3....Watson wide right with a tough pitch shot....Cink on the green within 25 feet for birdie.
